LeBron James scored 28 points with 15 rebounds and eight assists versus Golden State in Game 1 of The Finals. The Cavaliers and Warriors went toe-to-toe through the first quarter, hinting at the heavyweight battle that was about to unfold. But Golden State opened the gap in the second period and pulled away in the third handing the Wine & Gold a 113-91 loss on Thursday night at Oracle Arena.
King James debuted a new pair of kicks in Game 1 of the NBA Finals but it wasn’t the Soldier 11. Instead he went with a new Maroon and Gold version of the Nike LeBron 14. I guess they’re waiting to bring out the Soldier the same way they did last year, which was Game 3 with a Blackout-ed colorway suggesting a covert nature of the unveiling. Hopefully they will deliver a turnaround performance just like last year.
