LeBron James has been rocking the LeBron 11 Elite and the Soldier 7 interchangeability in this year’s Playoffs. The “sneakergate” continues. As of today he wore three of each, although he uses the Elites more often. Kevin Durant has also rolled back towards the standard edition of his shoes, which means that both stars are not using their fancy $275, $200 Elite shoes. Last night, James introduced a brand new Player Exclusive version of the Zoom Soldier VII in Red and Black. The Heat defeated the Brooklyn Nets 96-94 and advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals. King James led the way for the Heat with 29 points, nine rebounds and five assists. What do you think of Nike Basketball’s Elite series after their marquee stars are reluctant to wear them in games? Does it change the appeal to buy them? Let us know in the comments below.

I was not a fan of the LeBron elite "team", but since I saw them on court (match 3), I want to buy 'em...
I think it is damaging commercially that LeBron doesn't wear his first line signature shoes.
Yeah, this is definitely not cool. You cannot expect fans to buy shoes at $275 and have your idol ditch them like that for something half that price.
Less than half lol
