Apart from his impressive performance in the NBA Finals, LeBron James did well in the sneaker category as well. Nike Basketball has come a long way since LeBron’s first trip to the Finals back in 2007. Back then it seemed so unexpected they simply weren’t ready to capitalize on the biggest stage in basketball. Two laser etched pairs, Home and Away, of the Nike Zoom Soldiers were underwhelming to say the least… especially by Nike’s crazy PE standard routine.
Nike took notes and these days we finally get to see LeBron rocking true Cleveland Cavaliers colorways instead of overusing the so called Bred theme. In 6 NBA Finals games, The King debuted 3 regular LeBron XII PE colorways and 2 pairs of the Elites with the additional debut of the “Witness” GR. The Elites were blah, but the regular 12’s were something to behold! The Homes, the Aways, and last night’s special Gold kicks… were all brilliant. All of them using the Cavs’ Wine and Gold theme in a way that not only fans in Cleveland should appreciate. Too bad it’s all over. No more PEs. Just a couple of GRs left. I guess it’s onto the next one.

These are definitely one of my favorite Nike Lebron "Finals" installments along-side the Nike Lebron 8 PS "Finals" version.
