LeBron James has joined Twitter. Check out his official channel @KingJames. Apparently, his buddy Chris Paul convinced LBJ to join the social media fun. He had been reluctant to join Twitter or Facebook and had even joked in the past about how other athletes discussed their personal lives online. At this moment, in less than 24 hours, he’s surpassed 200,000 followers. James has yet to announce where he’ll play next season, a decision that could affect the future of several franchises and the city of Cleveland’s economy. Apparently, he will announce his future NBA plans during a one-hour special on ESPN network at 9 p.m Thursday. It is not known which team James will join or where the announcement will take place. Finally, James was late for the second day of his Skills Academy on Tuesday, but he did play along several Cavaliers teammates. He was spotted wearing an all black colorway of the upcoming Nike Air Max LeBron VIII.

That's all fine and good -- but nikelebron.net announced that the Air Max Lebron VII MVP were coming out, but yet to give a release date. I already purchased the PS MVPs. Does anyone have any further information?

Maybe that's the reason for the 1-hour special? I mean, why would you talk for 60 minutes if you're just gonna say you're staying?
Well it looks like LeBron is going to the Miami heat so lebrons sneakers will be the same colors red and black.

I am so done with LBJ. I was a huge fan this season and watched every minute of LeBron that I could, but this whole show-boat "watch me in prime time announce who gets to pay me $100 million" is RIDICULOUS and makes me puke. I hope he goes to Miami because I hate that team and it will be easy to NOT watch them.
Congratulations to lebron and his new team. I would have prefered chicago but i knew deep down that he would choose miami. And i was right. I just wanted to say i respect your descsion Lebron and dont worry lebron. you didnt let any one down.
