Yesterday, LeBron James used the Cavs’ practice session as well as the team’s media availability to debut a low-top version of his new signature sneaker… the Nike LeBron 14 Low. I guess he wanted to make us notice because he used two different pairs… Mint and Cavs-themed.
This long anticipated shoe looks a lot like the mid version, but features different materials with a woven upper. Since there’s no strap to put the Swoosh on the Nike logo went to the back of the shoe. Seems like this time Nike kept the original tooling and there’s the Zoom Air cushioning instead of the 180 or 360 Air Max units used in the past. Personally, I believe that’s the right decision to keep the Lows… low to the ground.
As of now, a release date for the LeBron 14 Low hasn’t been announced, but it won’t be long now after King James made the proper unveiling. Usually the low-tops launch in April, but the original model was delayed a couple months so everything is later this year and the Elites got bounced too. Keep checking back for updates on the LEBRON XIV Low as the story unfolds.
