The Hollywood Walk of Fame comprises more than 2,600 five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California. The stars are permanent public monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry, bearing the names of a mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and others. Maybe one day LeBron James will have its own place among entertainment stars too.
For now he will be able to wear a special colorway of the Nike LeBron 15 inspired by the colors of the famous Walk of Fame stars. Nike did a great job with storytelling and used one of Los Angeles’ most attractive tourist locations as the inspiration. The 897650-600 Rust Pink/Metallic Gold-Black style is all about those flashy looks. Maybe Nike was looking to bring more flair with shoes since the threads are simple black or white.
The ‘All-Star’ LeBron XV will be available at Nike Basketball retailer on February 15th.
UPDATE 2/7: new photo showing the Men’s version has surfaced.
