In Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals LeBron had 47 points on 25 shot attempts. He made 15 and was 5-of-10 on 3-pointers. There’s been more efficient performances in playoff history, but not with 47 points, probably. In that famous Game 5 against the Pistons two years ago when LeBron put up 48 points, he did it on 18-of-33 shooting and was 10-of-14 from the line. He actually went just 2-of-3 on 3-pointers that night, though it seems like more in my memory. In that game he got a lot of points getting to the rim. In his career-high 56-point game against the Raptors in 2005, LeBron was 18-of-36 and 8-of-16 on 3-pointers. Earlier this season he had that 55-point game against the Bucks when he had the greatest 3-point shooting night of his career when he went 8-of-11. But he was 16-of-29 overall. On Saturday was still better, plus he threw in a couple of wild shots inside the 3-point line, including a one-handed floater when I don’t think he even looked at the rim. So you can make the strong case that tonight was the greatest shooting playoff game of his career. What are you thoughts? Check out complete highlights below (in High Definition).
