First Look: Nike LeBron 9 “Black & White” aka Scarface Freegums

I was reluctant to call the Home 9’s like everyone else and seems like something better has come along, which is much more deserving of the Scarface nickname. Still, we will update you on the real inspiration once available, as always. A new batch of photos, actually it’s already two, presenting a new colorway of the Nike LeBron 9 has just surfaced the Internet. The new Black and White is definitely a back-to-basics colorway, which among neck-breakers like Chinas and Cannons is something quite refreshing. Release information is not available at the moment, it will most likely release to public, but it remains unknown in what fashion. What’s your take on this new LEBRON 9?
UPDATE: They’re not Scarface LeBrons after all. It’s a graphic art about King James and Miami designed by Alvaro Ilizarbe, aka Freegums, a local artist in Miami.

  • Never even seen or heard of these till I went on Marqueesole what are these and they probably will drop but limited not that great except for the pictures and the design on the outside just a basic black/white colorway nothing to get to excited over

  • These will probably be my balling shoe this year. These and Kentuckys seem nice for basketball while Cannons and Chinas will be worn mainly for casual.

  • I really like the design in the white toe cap. I hope they do more designs in the toe cap on other colors

  • Reminds me of last year's graffiti LeBron 8 v2's. Overall though, real nice shoe.

  • Apparently the design on the inside and toebox is by a Miami artist that goes by "Freegum"
