Some designs have been reused over and over again and fell victim to their own success. For us sneakerhead… that’s normal these days. Hopefully the Corks won’t share that fate. The initial Cork colorway came alive along with the LEBRON 10 when Nike wanted to celebrate LeBron James’ first NBA championship. Then, they gave it a rest with two casual LeBron 11 NSW Lifestyle make ups, but I guess it sort of works for a shoe like that. Other branches within the Swoosh took at stab at the Cork’s fame, but now it comes back to the main line with the unveiling of the LEBRON 12. It’s possible the “Cork” LeBron 12 EXT is bound to reach retail, sooner or later, but I wonder if winning the ring or not this post-season we’ll have any impact. We’ll let you know once something solid comes up. For now, check out the pics below.
