Dallas Mavericks Beat Miami Heat to Claim First NBA Championship

Dirk Nowitzki, with a whole lot of help from his supporting cast, finished the job against the star-studded Miami Heat, 105-95, to capture NBA title. Miami’s big three – LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh – combined for 57 points. But that wasn’t nearly enough to stop the Mavs from celebrating in Miami. The Heat needed LeBron to be great. He was OK. Wade had carried the Heat throughout the Finals, but he finally seemed to run out of gas on Sunday. James made some jump shots early and was useful as a facilitator throughout the game, but he was far, far too passive on both ends of the floor when he desperately needed to show a sense of urgency. This is a series that will haunt LeBron until he does win a ring, but according to his twitter “The Greater Man upstairs know when it’s my time. Right now isn’t the time.”

  • Da hell man.. This was his best chance of his career and no one stepped up. I'm tired of feeling this pain year in and year out. I ain't buying anymore of his shoes or apparel till he wins that's for sure.

  • Cheer up fellas! the sun has hardly risen...at the end of the day, we will witness a Miami Heat dynasty ;-)

  • Yup... Was mad a while ago but now I'm ok.. Better team won folks...LBJ's still young but he needs to win a couple of rings for himslef and for the HEAT to redeem himself... Damn... LBJ has just let me down again..But I still believe in him no matter what anyone says... He will find an ANSWER and rule the NBA. 2012 is our year guys. BELIEVE. 2012 is KING!

  • I'm a loyal fan, I am still buying his shoes and going for the Heat!
Great game and I'm going to have to go with what "Kaczala" said.

  • Great! We have to wait whole another year to see if Lebron get the chance or not. He had his chance when he played for Cavs back in 07, n had his chance few days ago. He would had 2 rings. Now all the people are mocking him.
