Closer Look at the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII (8) Launch Colorway

It’s mid-August and Nike still hasn’t released any solid piece of information about the upcoming Nike Air Max LeBron VIII – LeBron James’ eight signature shoe. After the teaser video released last month, MarqueeSole published new photos presenting the launch colorway of the AMLVIII. All this makes us believe that the featured model won’t change much before going into production. The VIII seems like an upgrade from the VII. Apart from logos (new signature, lionhead), suede upper and carbon fiber/flywire panels there no drastic changes. However, since the previous model was very well received seems like there was no need for a complete makeover. Personally, I would really like to see Nike’s new logo representing LeBron’s new jersey number #6. If you want them early feel free to visit marqueesole.com.

  • Looks great! But i miss the gold in it. too bad it won't fit any of the heat's colors. coz unlike the cavs colorway, it rocks the court with the red black gold/silver

  • The big plastic Swoosh irks me(and looking at those Black-out pics a while back, the shoe would look great without it).

The rest of the design is nice though, hoping he wears these at the season start.

  • I love these. I'm so glad the materials are alot higher quality and there is alot more cushioning inside the shoe. Oh yeah did I mention I love the Lion head logo, fits me perfectly since Lyon is my last name!!! Can't wait to have these on my feet!

  • It is indeed a gorgeous shoe..i just dont know what nike was thinking with the suede..it would be much nicer with a cracked leather

  • does anyone want to buy a pair of 1-7's brand new, never worn in size 8.5? All are in the black/red colorways.

  • I'm thinking that these are fakes because is you read the tech sheet on the shoe it saying nothing about having suede in the shoe. I'm thinking that the real version will be with out suede but have the crack leather

Although fakes are starting to pop up even on ebay, the shoes presented above are definitelly real!

I would also prefer some kind of leather instead of suede.
