The Nike Max LeBron XI Low China takes the idea of using a Chinese porcelain vase, applying the theme to the upper of the shoe. Of course, using actual patterns from a Chinese vase would seem out-of-place, so Nike took the opportunity to give the whole porcelain vibe a more aggressive feel. Chinese dragons flying across clouds are illustrated on half of the paneling on the upper. Splattered Hyper Cobalt is sprayed on the rear side panels, while white mesh does its job of spreading the focus from illustration to textures. The illustration is very detailed. The LeBron 11 Low China has paired the Hyper Cobalt with gold details. The blue lacelock also features an inverse-splatter pattern from the upper, while the tongue continues the painting you see below. A small but dope detail to look out for is the midsole. The Air Unit is featured, of course, but note the blue streaks floating around the pillars. Real nice touch. The official release date was yesterday, but some stores have postponed the launch so keep your eyes peeled.
