Breaking News: LeBron James is Headed to Miami to Join Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh

Sorry, Chicago, New York and New Jersey. But, most of all… sorry Cleveland :(. LeBron James chose superstar help over the comforts of home and is heading for Miami because he wants to win a championship with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. “I can’t say it was always in my plans, because I never thought it was possible,” James said on a made-for-Lebron live show on ESPN. “But the things that the Miami Heat franchise have done, to free up cap space and be able to put themselves in a position this summer to have all three of us, it was hard to turn down. Those are two great players, two of the greatest players that we have in this game today.” Olympic teammates in Beijing, James, Bosh and Wade all helped deliver gold medals. This time, it’ll be about a gold trophy, the NBA championship one – the one Wade got in 2006, the one that James and Bosh have yet to touch. In Cleveland, the immediate reaction was predictably filled with outrage (see Dan Gilbert’s open letter to Cavs’ fans). Television images showed at least one fan burning James’ No. 23 wine-and-gold jersey. “I can’t get involved in that,” he said. “I wanted to do what was best for LeBron James … At the end of the day, I feel awful. I feel even worse that I wasn’t able to bring an NBA championship to that city. “To my real fans out there, I hope that you’ll continue to support me all the way to Miami.” via NBA.com. Kicks-wise… nothing changes… we’re still going to get Black, White and Red Nike LeBron sneakers. This time with no excuse for the Red not being Wine.

  • Somehow I feel very sad. It's an end on an era. But I will continue to support LeBron all the way.

  • I'm excited to say the least.

To the Cav's owner and retard person who burned his Jersey and have it televised, way to be immature. Bron gave it all he got for 7 years and this is how they treat him.

  • I feel so sorry for the Cleveland Cavaliers, specially it's owner Dan Gilbert... I feel you. It's just so sad... I wish he had stayed in cleveland... I'm a LeBron James fan, but looking at the last playoff games, he should've stayed and allowed the team to bring talent over to you and reclaim yourself... I still love the triumvarate in miami though.. but still wish he should've stayed... foolish Lebron, still a fan though... but now I'm leaning on Kobe more... just like in the old days...now i know he's not gonna be as good as michael was, or magic, or even larry bird or not even gonna pass kobe, or wade they all win their respective championships with one team... my sentiments Cavs....

  • I'm a Lebron fan 100% so I support him in whatever he does! I think he made the right choice. There was no reason for him to stay in Cleveland. He wants to win and it was very clear that Cleveland wasn't the place to get it done. I can't wait to see what happens this season. Could Lebron, Wade, and Bosh be the next Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman???

  • SAME HERE! KOBE! I have a feeling Lakers will get the Champ again. Cause of Phil Jackson is staying. That old fart don't know how to retire but he still can bring LA Champ AGAIN! LOL!

  • Dan should thank LeBron for 7 years of hard work before calling him out. Not cool my man.

  • yeah that was really classless by dan gilbert. he sounded like a spoiled kid who didnt get his way. lebron brought him and city millions of dollars and national attention. gilbert should be blaming himself. the cavs made NO improvements. NY got amare, bosh to the heat, and boozer to the bulls. who did cleveland get? of course he isn't going to stay, he would have the same team he had last year. I agree with jr. lyon i am a 100% lebron fan and support him wherever he goes
