Big Three Strong In Opener. LeBron James Gets First Finals Win.

The Miami Heat defeated the Dallas Mavericks 92-84 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals Tuesday at American Airlines Arena. The Heat lead the series 1-0. Forward LeBron James led the Heat with 24 points and nine rebounds while guard Dwyane Wade added 22 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. The Heat trailed by eight in the third quarter before turning things around. James hit an off-balanced 3-pointer at the end of the quarter to put Miami ahead by four. Then Miami’s dynamic duo finished things up in the fourth providing several highlight plays. Miami limited the Mavericks to just 37 percent shooting, slowing star forward Dirk Nowitzki. He finished with 27 points, but shot just 7 of 18 from the field.

  • ;-) Watched every minute of the Finals game 1 and loved the performance that Lebron and the Heat put on. Can't wait for Lebron to wear some more new PEs in the Finals.

  • This is what makes the heat so dangerous. The big 3 is rolling and the benches are stepping up to shoulder some scoring load to the big 3. Adding those vicious, highlight reel dunks of James. Let's go heat, win 3 more and haters will all fall unto their knees for their criticism they bashed into the team.

  • Oh I forgot i thought James will be lacing up somesort of a special finals makeup colorway just like the soldier 3 and Soldier 1. But to my surprise he donned the ECF PS 8. Oh well might as well wait and maybe nike is setting up a special surprise at the right time. :mrgreen:
