We all know LeBron James is very fond of New York City. Yesterday there was another exclusive LeBron release at the House of Hoops store in Harlem. Those who weren’t able to get the Zoom LeBron V NY Yankees Edition probably want them even more now, as King James torched the Knicks with another 50-point performance wearing the shoes, which actually match Cavs’ alternate road jerseys. The shoes came in a regular ZLV box, with an Yankee-themed dust bag and an extra pair of laces. There was a special L23 tee available as well. Unfortunately we all know how it is… now only eBay is your chance to get a pair and the prices are really high at the moment. Only a little over one hundred pairs were released yesterday as people were lining all day. The first person in line was treated with tickets to last night’s game. This is probably the best looking limited release Lebron V yet even better than Mr. Basketball, Chinas, Halloweens, SVSM, Birthdays, OSU, and CTK. :cool:
I woulda gotten me a pair for display (if I had a fair shot at buying one..... wolves and sharks circled around it way too fast for the almighty dollar) and occasional use since I would not have sold it anyway. Sure-fire classic since it looks good and creates controversy as well. :cool:
Besides, ever seen a pin-striped shoe that looked that good and if it performs like the rest of the series, that is one-wicked, high-performance shoe. :cool:
