Amare Stoudemire has never had his own signature shoe in the true meaning of this word, however, his famous S.T.A.T. logo (Standing Tall and Talented) has graced a lot of Nike Basketball kicks through the years. He usually wears Power Forward oriented shoes (Nike Air Force STAT, Nike Hyperposite), but yesterday, during the NBA Media Day, he was spotted wearing LeBron James’ team shoe – the Zoom Soldier VII. The all new SOLDIER 7 is available on NIKEiD and the color options allow for New York Knicks themed designs, however, Amare’s kicks are PEs as they sport his STAT logo on the top of the tongue. What about the Air Max Stat??
LeBron claims the Zoom LeBron II to be his first signature because it was his first shoe NAMED after him. In that sense Amare never got that. His Air Force STAT was already mentioned too.
