Alternate Retro Version of the Nike Zoom LeBron II "Dunkman"

It’s really hard not to believe that Nike is already in an advanced stage of their first ever Retro Nike LeBron release. Back in April, we profiled a brand new version of the iconic “Dunkman” Zoom LeBron II, which uses the new LeBron James signature logo in order to separate itself from the original design. It turns out it’s not the only Retro Dunkman 2 that’s been conceived.

Photos showing an alternate colorway, which uses tumbled leather instead of the matte nubuck finish, have surfaced the Internet. I don’t know how about you, but I’m ready to own a pair from the OG Dunkman collection. It has eluded me for years. Even if it’s not 100% the same pair and has a different logo and materials I will wear these till the soles fall off. I also like the idea of choosing the Zoom LeBron II as the beginning chapter in the Retro LeBron movement. Hopefully it’s just around the corner. What’s your take on the Retros? Is it time?

  • The Dunkman series of themes is my favorite of The Nike LeBron collection, so I'm all for these! I have been a fan of LeBron ever since he was drafted into the NBA in the year 2003, but a fan of his shoes ever since the Lebron Six. Whenever Nike decided to drop the Nike Lebron Air Max VII, I fell in love with the model and the Dunkman version even more.
