All-Star Game Exclusive vs Yankees General Release LeBron Six

In one of our first posts about the All-Star VI, we claimed it to be a little too similar to the White/Navy GR aka Yankee Six. Now we want to show you how much similar they really are and ask you if they are not too much alike. Both shoes feature Navy suede upper, Patent Leather toebox, White swoosh, Navy outsole and contrast stitching. In general, we feel that the ASG VI is a “custom” version of the Yankees as it sports the Navy/Powder Blue gradient toe box, Light Blue heel and a different shade of the stitching on the midsole. Yes, they do match the NBA All-Star Game jerseys and we don’t mind it being plain, but somehow it just doesn’t feel like a deserving ASG shoe. The overall look of the Allstars is nice, the modifications are really good, but maybe the White/Navy base was not such a good idea to pull this off. Anyway… for those, who missed out on the ASG VI and would really like to get a pair, osneaker.com has several sizes available for sale. What are your opinions? Do you like it as it is or do you feel it could have been better?

  • I like the yankee 6 better. The all-star is too plain and too close to the gr.

  • last year was awesome
add some designs to the shoe

they should add some crazy designs of king james winning ASG MVP or something that got james to be even better
that would be a great ASG show for this year
but overall its look the same and its to plain

  • fail on nike's part. This is probably the least creative thing they have done ever. If i was lebron i would be so pissed at NIke for giving me pretty much the same shoe twice
