Those who follow us on twitter or via our release dates page already know this, but let’s make things official. The Nike Air Max LeBron VII “University of Akron” Limited Edition will be released this Saturday (2/27) at House of Hoops stores. It’s the third AU shoe from the Nike LeBron collection after the ZS3 and ZL6 dropped last year. The Akron AMLVII is a House of Hoops exclusive. They feature a Flywire upper, Patent Leather wraparound, White midsole and laces. Gold is the finishing touch visible via metal eyelets, Swoosh’s outline and the Air Max unit. 1 2 Next »This is a pass for me. Just got 2 pairs of the all stars and am looking to get dunkmans and one of the eastbay exclusives. Don't feel like going through the headache to get these also.
Along with the Red Carpet and Dunkman this is my favorite pair. I am so glad Akron is one of LeBron schools. Hopefully I will get my pair soon :smile:
I would like to get an extra set of Gold laces tho.

These Akrons are ok, but if they want to release one, it needs to be the UK ones! the dunkmans are nice too tho!

those pictures look better than the catalog pictures. hey guys i need a little advice. I am going to NY for spring break and i will happen to be there on march 13th when the VII ctk's drop at hoh. should i get there early? im not sure how the these exclusive drops work. any advice would be helpful

ok thanks. i just know that the kobe V USC and Duke are releasing too so all the bron fans AND kobe fans will be there so i figured it would be tough to get in there and get my pair.

The Akron's are always a step-above the other school releases! These are phenomenal! Alas, just ordered my Dunkmans so these won't be mine... but I think they're top-2 VII's this year. Dunkman #1 Akrons #2
