If we ever gonna see LeBron James wearing the Soldier V, it’s probably gonna be this Miami Heat-esque Black/White/Red version, or… another crazy Player Exclusive. Maybe he’ll do so during the 2011 LeBron James Skills Academy, which started yesterday. He tends to unveil new kicks during those extra basketball activities or later in training camp/pre-season. Anyway the basic Black, White and Red model is different from what we saw on catalog pics. Fortunately the changes are for the better, I think. See for yourself after the break.

:cool: I like these. Hopefully the lockout will be over before the preseason and we get to see LJ6 rock these in multiple PEs. Just like this last preseason.
I am really kinda disgusted with what Nike has done with these. I saw a few pairs in different colors in person today. Nike has totally done away with the side panel with all the holes in it which I thought looked good. Also alot of the materials look WAY cheaper in person than all the sample pics we've seen. Just like these originally had black patent with the white side panel with the holes. Pretty sad!!! Even the nubuck I saw on a BRED pair today wasn't up to par!!!
I own these in the Cool Grey colorway, and I gotta say the materials are plush as hell. I don't know about whatever nubuck pair you peeped out, but the cool grey pair uses the same high quality tumbled leather found in the South Beach 8's. The flywire panels and the tongue feature 3M material. The finishing touches are also insane.
