A Rare Look at the Doernbecher LeBron 13 Out in the Wild

This past weekend Nike released two pairs of Nike LeBron 13 sneakers. A regular release – Akronite Philosophy – and a limited edition as a part of the Doernbecher initiative. The Doernbechers were hard to get… there’s usually a lot of hype surrounding the DB’s but it’s for a good cause so that’s not a reason to complain here. As long as the Kids do get better it’s all good!

Limited Nike LeBron kicks are rare these days. Most of the releases are fairly easy to get… sooner or later. The Doernbecher LeBron XIII sold out in minutes, but the black market prices on eBay are not so bad oscillating between $250 and $350. Compared to other shoes from the 2015 Doernbecher pack it’s relatively low especially when you consider the Air Jordan XIII, which is hard to find below $500.

All this made me realize that the recently released Air Max 95 LeBron James Quickstrike edition is the most difficult to find among all LeBron James’ kicks this year… and probably last year too. This is weird cause it’s not even a original Nike LeBron design… it’s just a Retro.

Check out the new photos featuring the Doernbecher 13’s below. We didn’t get a real photo look prior to the release so it’s nice to have a detailed, high quality on-feet showcase now.
