LeBron James has a special connection with the city of Portland, Oregon. Well… that’s basically because Nike HQ is just around the corner. Back in 2011, The King started a new tradition, sort of, by wearing a special colorway of the LeBron 8 V/2 against the Blazers, which is known as the Portland PE. Last season he also broke out something special while visiting Portland with a very rare and attractive looking LeBron 12 PE.
This season they already played against the Blazers once and LBJ broke out a brand new LeBron 13 PE Portland colorway, but this time LeBron played the host part. It is very similar to the first Portland pair with a predominantly Black upper and subtle hits of red and white. The Cavs play in Oregon again at the end of this month. It’s possible LeBron will once again unveil something special for the game.
