For the second time this post season LeBron James decided to five his Elite model of the Nike LeBron 12 a rest. He played in the Player Exclusive version of the standard “Double Helix” LeBron XII. The shoe is synced to his Cavs uni by changing pink to a truer shade of red and going with yellow in place of volt. Obviously, the Maroon base has stayed put. King James must really like the regular 12’s and seems like the Playoffs model is not that much of an upgrade. That might not relate to the sales numbers at all, but what’s the point of buying the Elites now if LeBron himself relies on regular version, which is $75 cheaper too.
