The essence of the Nike LeBron XII lies with the hexagonal Zoom Air cushioning. For the “Six Meridians” colorway, the latest release, Nike took a special approach in design inspired by the the wisdom of our ancestors passed on in the form of the meridian system. It is a traditional Chinese medicine belief about a path through which the life-energy known as “qi” flows. Nike calls them 6 meridians, but according to wikipedia there are twelve meridians, which is even a better fit with the name of the shoe.
