Playing in the uncomfortable warmth of an AT&T Center that lost its air conditioning due to electrical problems, the San Antonio Spurs were able to capitalize on cramping and subsequent early exit of LeBron James on their way to a 110-95 victory over the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday. James appeared to experience muscle cramps in the hot building after he made a layup with four minutes to go with the Heat trailing by two points. “I’m feeling better than I did when I came off the floor [with cramps]… I was going to try to give it a go, and ‘Spo said ‘No.’ You know, after I came out of the game, they kind of took off. And it was frustrating sitting out and not being able to help the team.” Following the unveiling of the LeBron 11 Elite Finals PE in practice, James went back to the Zoom Soldiers and debuted a new predominantly Grey colorway with Black and Gold details.
