In a game that featured 16 lead changes and six tied scores, the U.S Olympic Men’s Basketball Team held off Spain for a 107-100 win to capture the Olympic gold medal on Sunday afternoon at the 2012 Olympic Games at North Greenwich Arena in London. In less than two months, LeBron James led one team to the NBA championship, another to Olympic gold. Throw in that he won the NBA’s regular-season Most Valuable Player award, and he becomes only the second player in history to do that. The other is Michael Jordan. We have all witnessed history! Enjoy new photos from the gold medal game.
