Apparently having one shoe for the season and another one for the Playoffs is not enough. Seems like Nike is going to debut at least three different signature shoes for LeBron James this year. Those of you, who have already purchased the Nike LeBron 8, probably noticed the name LEBRON 8 V/1 on the side of the pull out box. That was our first clue. Today, thanks to our friends at marqueesole.com, we give you an exclusive preview of the Nike LeBron 8 V/2. The silhouette of the shoe remains the same, but the materials used on the upper are different suggesting that this retooled version is build for a lighter and more fliexible frame. Carbon fiber panels are gone, but the Flywire is still there. Additionally, there are huges ventilation holes underneath a thin layer of synthetic material. Maybe Nike’s tagline “LEBRON 8: LIGHTER, STRONGER, BIGGER EXPECTATION” is about the Version 2, because the regular Eight is not lighter than last year’s model. Ohh… and let’s not forget about the P.S. edition, which is rumored to drop in April. Three different LeBron 8’s. Wow.
