LeBron James and his Cavaliers teammates will spend Christmas at home this year – with a special present of a basketball game against the Miami Heat and James’ good friend Dwyane Wade. A Cavaliers source said the team will host the Heat at The Q on Christmas Day this year. The day typically is reserved for the NBA’s most intriguing matchups, with the L.A. Lakers versus Miami serving as a focus the last three years to showcase the Kobe Bryant-Shaquille O’Neal showdown. Instead, the spotlight will be on James vs. Wade. The only time James has been featured on Christmas Day was during his rookie season of 2003-04 at Orlando. James scored 34 points, but the Cavaliers lost in overtime, 113-101, with the Magic’s Tracy McGrady scoring 41. Source: cavs.com.
