Having featured the previous three colorways of the Christ the King Soldier 6′s we continue the breakdown of this year’s LeBron James’ team shoe. This time it’s two new colorways of the Nike Zoom Soldier VI. Nike Basketball has equipped the students from Christ the King High School in Queens, NY with a second Home / Away set. This adds up to 5 different CTK styles in one season! Nike has stopped releasing their High School Player Exclusive styles a long time ago. Do you feel it was the right decision? Last week, we showcased the third Fairfax colorway of the Nike Zoom Soldier VI. It’s about time to conclude the series with the fourth style – the Away Alternate PE. This completes the overview of the new Fairfax Soldiers with two classic White and Black based Home and Away styles and two alternate models. The latest installment features a predominantly Red upper complemented with Black logos, Yellow outsole and inside lining. A big Fairfax logo highlights the midfoot strap. Yesterday, the Ohio State Buckeyes squeezed into their fourth straight Sweet 16 appearance with a 78-75 win over Iowa State at University of Dayton Arena. Since the Ohio State University is still a LeBron James sponsored school, many players wore Nike LeBron shoes including personalized LeBron X iD and Zoom Soldier VI colorways. Although their Player Exclusive version is slightly different from the one presented below, it gives us a great chance to check out one of the more interesting styles that were actually released to public. In an interview about his last game, LeBron James explains why he wore the Zoom LeBron VI Fairfax PE. The most obvious reason is the common color theme shared amongst the Fairfax Lions and the Miami Heat. In short words… LeBron just went with the flow coming back Home. There’s no Fairfax style for the current Nike LeBron X, but check out a new version of the Nike Zoom Soldier VI. Joining Homes and Aways is an new alternate Home colorway. The shoes sport a predominantly Yellow upper with a big FAIRFAX logo on the midfoot strap. Big thanks to @sneaks_94 for the pics.

We already profiled 3 different SVSM colorways of the Nike Zoom Soldier VI. Here’s the fourth version and turns out it’s not the last one. Following the Aways (first, second) and the Homes is this new alternate make up. The shoes feature a predominantly Gold upper with Green ankle strap and the outsole. Similar to all other styles inspired by the Saint Vincent Saint Mary High School, the Alternate ZS6 features the Fighting Irish logos on the tongue and on the back of the shoes. We’ve already seen how the LeBron X looks like inside out. Literally! Now it’s time for the other LeBron James’ signature shoe – the Nike Zoom Soldier VI. The Soldier 6 is an ultra light, very responsive ride that uses Hyperfuse upper and two Zoom Air bags for cushioning. Additionally, unlike the previous two installments, Nike has refreshed the series with a more unique look. It still uses the trademark midfoot strap, though. The Nike Zoom Soldier VI has turned out to be a great platform for Team colorways, which is definitely a good thing to a Team shoe. We haven’t seen LeBron James wearing these aside from the practice of pre-season games. However, other NBA players are trying to fill this void. Other than special make ups like Christmas, Black History Month and All-Star we’ve seen several personalized colorways for different NBA teams – the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Denver Nuggets, and now the Los Angeles Clippers. The presented Red, Blue and White colorway has been customized for Eric Bledsoe who’s been wearing the Soldier 6 as much as he’s been seen in the LeBron X this season. We have already introduced Home and Away colorways of the Nike Zoom Soldier VI personalized for the Saint Vincent Saint Mary High School. Turns out there’s more. What we have here is an alternate predominantly Green version of the new SVSM Soldiers. Compared to the other Away edition it’s a darker, but cleaner look. The shoes still feature the Fighting Irish logo on the top of the tongue and the IRISH on the back of the shoe. They come with two sets of laces… contrasting Gold and toned Green. One thing hasn’t changed, though. Nike is not planning to release any of the school PEs this season.
