Nike Air Max LeBron 8 V/2 “Miami Heat” Player Exclusive »

January was slow kicks-wise so it was a good time for LeBron James to break out some new LEBRON 9 Player Exclusives, which he did. Among the newly introduced PEs were Aways, Homes plus an additional Black & White version. Basically, the same groups of PEs as the last season’s LEBRON 8 V2′s. Among several Player Exclusive styles, which have surfaced afterwards is this new Miami Heat inspired colorway. King James didn’t get a chance to wear these in an actual NBA game, but it would be a nice match with Heat uniforms. Shout out to @artaphax for sharing.

Jason Petrie Unveils Unreleased Nike LeBron 8 “Miami Nights” Mid »

Jason Petrie has just posted yet another sample colorway from his vault of Nike LeBron sneakers. This time it’s the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 in a very familiar colorway… the so-called Miami Nights or Flamingos, which he probably would have preferred. According to JP, the concept for these Miami inspired kicks, which were released as low-tops, was initially a Mid version. Both of them are nice, but would you prefer the Mids over the actual store product? Actually, my only regret is that they were far too limited. Via @sevenzro.

Never-Seen-Before Nike LeBron 8 V/2 MVP Samples »

What a treat to start the New Year with. Only a couple of hours in and we’re getting an unexpected look at two new Nike LeBron 8 V/2 colorways. Judging from the logo on the back they were made for LeBron James in case he won the NBA Most Valuable Player award for the last season. Both shoes feature a Black and Red gradient uppers with slightly different shades. The main difference is the Swoosh – white and black, respectively. How do they compare to Nike’s MVP shoes of the past – Zoom LeBron VI and Air Max LeBron VII? Shout out to @justinamazing1 for sharing!

The Showcase: Nike Air Max LeBron 8 V/2 Christmas Exclusive »

Nike is set to release this year’s Christmas exclusive in just a couple of days. You can see how they compare to the Xmas’ of past through The Collection. Right now let’s take a closer look at the last year’s model, because the theme has pretty much stayed the same. Fortunately, Nike didn’t change it too much. They’re still red and very “Christmassy” for sure. Both LBJ8 and LBJ9 share a candy red upper with green laces. The Eight was snowing on the midsole opposed to an icey outsole on the Nines. Which one is better? That’s up to you to decide. Continue reading for a showcase of the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 “Christmas”.

Yet Another Nike LeBron 8 V2 “Portland” PE/Sample »

There are so many Black & Red based LeBron 8 V2 PEs it’s easy to get confused. Fortunately, I am here to help. There’s a Black/Red PE aka “actual Portland PE” with speckled air max (#1), Miami Heat away edition (#2), Shooting Stars PE (#3), and last but probably the most recognizable the “so called Portland PE” (#4). If things weren’t messy enough the new colorway, which would be #5, is also labeled as yet another Portland make up. It’s basically the Black/Red version, but sporting a White swoosh. Shout out to @ARTAPHAX for sending his pics.

Closer Look at Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low “Kyle Irving” Duke PE »

In the Chris Paul’s All-Star Charity game that took place in October Kyrie Irving, former Duke player, wore an unknown at that point Black & Blue based Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low PE. The fog has lifted and now we know it’s a special Duke colorway, like some of you already guessed, but it also sports his own Nike logo. KI signed an endorsement deal with the Swoosh back in the summer. Seems like the Blue Devils sophomore point guard Tyler Thornton also got shoes from Kyrie as he’s recently shared new photos via Twitter. Continue reading for more looks.

The Showcase: Nike Air Max LeBron 8 V/2 Low “Solar Red” »

In the middle of this ongoing LEBRON 9 hoopla, it’s very easy to forget about all these recent shoes carrying the number 8. This past summer Nike released five different colorways of the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low. Most headlines were occupied by the most popular – Miami Nights – but other unique styles like Sprite or the presented below Solar Red have some fans too… and rightfully so! Solar Reds use a simple color blocking with an infrared-like upper, white midsole and black outsole. The end result is simply stunning though. You are guaranteed to break some necks wearing them. All of LEBRON 8 Lows have one thing in common… they are insanely comfortable. Definitely one the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. See the whole gallery with tons of photos, after the break.

Nike Air Max LeBron 8 V/2 “SVSM” Unreleased Sample »

Last season, Nike made some sick colorways for the Saint Vincent Saint Mary High School. There were two special make ups of the Nike Air Max LeBron 8 V/1 personalized for LeBron James’ alma mater basketball team. You could see the SVSM Irish wear their LeBron PEs on the way to clinch the Division II boys Ohio state title. Apart from these V/1 PEs, seems like Nike was also ready with the V/2, even though there are no school logos present on the new sample. Despite that, the shoe still looks like a true SVSM with a classic green upper, white midsole, and gold outsole. In some way, the SVSM V2 PE is similar to this multi-green based sample as they both share a dark green upper.
