Detailed Look at LeBron James’ “Watch the Throne” PE »

One of LeBron James’ most precious gems is currently being displayed at the UNKNWN store located in Miami. The “Watch the Throne” LeBron 9 Player Exclusive was exposed during the WTT Tour and the sneaker community has been longing for a better look. Well, there’s definitely no better look than this available. The WTT LEBRON 9 features a Black & Gold colorway similar to the cover of the WTT Album with a huge gold lace lock. There’s already a rumor about a Black History Month colorway launching soon, but could it look similar to this one? What’s you take on the latest Jay-Z X LeBron collaboration?

Recap: LeBron’s UNKNWN Miami Grand Opening Party »

This past Friday, December 16th 2011, LeBron James and a few buddies from his high school days opened a prime boutique in the heart of South Florida, called UNKNWN. UNKNWN is “an edgy positivity towards an abstract destiny,” said co-owner Chris Julian. They carry an array of upscale urban brands such as Tantum, COMME des Garçons, and Original x Fake. The footwear wall is equipped with 45 Apple iPads that constantly run videos and pages of information highlighting each specific piece of shoe. LeBron James is launching a new retail store named “Unknwn” in Miami for Fall 2011 and we’ve got all the details you need to know here. While today’s announcement seems sudden, plans for Unknwn have been in development with LeBron over the past couple years. Unknwn was originally set to be break ground in Akron, OH as a new lifestyle concept boutique. The name of the store was influenced by how “unknown” the city of Akron is. When last year’s “The Decision” happened and LeBron took his talents to South Beach, the name of the store stayed intact as moving to Miami still represented an unknown for LeBron and the Unknwn team.
