The upcoming Nike LeBron 12 looks sharper with every new image we get. This time it’s the new “Lion Heart” colorway. The shoe sports a red upper along with white posite panels and black branding and inner lining. An icy translucent outsole completes the look below. This new colorway of the LeBron XII is scheduled to be released on October 31st for $200. Unlike the other Grey, Teal and Orange make up this version is much more suited for matching the Cleveland Cavaliers’ uniforms.Read the rest of this entry »
It’s hard to understand the logic behind Nike’s launch list for this summer. Two years in a row, fans where denied the opportunity to buy LeBron James’ Championship Pack shoes when he earned his first and second ring. I know the shoes actually dropped, but they were impossible to get for a mere mortal. This season when it was the San Antonio Spurs who won the title, Nike decides to release the LeBron 11 Low SE and now the LeBron 11 Elite SE. Obviously, it’s not a Championship Pack, heck it’s not even any pack as the shoes drop separately, but it’s hard not to make the connection when both shoes like so similar to the previous editions. And I’m not being salty here… I’m happy that for once fans can get the Floral low-tops and Red and Gold Elites without much of a hustle. It’s just that much weird! All in all, the Nike LeBron 11 Elite SE in University Red/Metallic Gold drops on August 1st for $295.

Turns out Nike may still release the Red and Gold edition of the LeBron 11 Elite SE (notice the new suffix in the name of the shoe). The SE is the last in the Elite series before the Nike Lebron 12 is unveiled. Calling these the NBA Finals shoes would normally be incorrect, but these follow the same theme established by the last year’s “Championship Pack” LeBron 10 Elites. This pair is dyed in red with shiny metallic gold and silver accents and a gold flaked translucent outsole. Hopefully Nike won’t cancel the release this time. As you can see below the boxes were ready to go.

Nike Basketball continues to provide region specific LeBron James signature shoes in Asia with the third installment of the ST series. The first version of the ST’s was kind of forgettable, but the second installment put fans on notice… especially those who were not so thrilled about the main signature low-tops. The Nike LeBron ST III offers a more balanced look and uses the standard Lunarlon midsole. There’s no mistake on who the shoes belong to with two big L-crown-J logos placed on the tongue and on the back o the shoe. The presented Black, Pure Platinum and Red colorway is already available in Asia, but you can easily find them on eBay too. Check out more pics below.Read the rest of this entry »
LeBron James is now a perfect 9-0 during first round playoff series in his career and is 16-2 in first round games as a member of the Miami Heat. James scored 31 points and Chris Bosh added 17 as the Heat swept the Charlotte Bobcats in the first round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs Monday night. James had started the game wearing his Nike LeBron 11 Elite Away PE, but just like he did in the regular season a lot, he opted for the Soldier 7 in the second half of the game. He switched into the Red and White version, which is also a Player Exclusive model. Check out the Game 4 pics below, which include a pretty special moment between Michael Jordan and LeBron James. It was so special!
Following a couple of teaser looks at the Nike Soldier 8 we finally have a much needed closer look at the upcoming installment. The Soldier series started as LeBron’s playoffs shoes… then turned into a team shoe… but now it’s become the No. 1 selection for King James for this season. Design-wise, the new version still shares the aggressive look and feel of the previous models – Soldier 6 and 7 – and once again features its trademark midfoot strap. This time it’s a brand new construction with an unique zip-collar. Continue reading for more pics.

Last night LeBron James broke out a new version of the Nike Zoom Soldier VII. It’s already his 21st colorway of the Soldier 7 compared to 14 colorways of the LeBron 11. With three Regular Season games left LeBron may become the first player to reach 50 different shoes in one season and I’m pretty sure this record will never be broken anyway. Right now he’s at 48, but in the past seven days, which include 4 games played by the Miami Heat, James debuted six different pairs! Over his first nine season King James used an average of 17 distinct kicks… the average for the last two years is over forty! Do you think LeBron James is the biggest sneakerhead in the NBA?
Last year, Nike Sportswear introduced the Lifestyle branch of LeBron James’ signature shoes. It was definitely not the first attempt to create a strictly casual oriented shoe under the Nike LeBron brand. Back in 2007, Nike launched the Nike Zoom LeBron Low ST, which did have a decent run. Every once in a while I still get emails from people looking to buy a pair. In 2013, Nike released 4 different colorways of the LeBron X NSW Lifestyle shoes. This season, we’re up to 8 different styles with the LeBron XI NSW Lifestyle, which indicates more focus on casual kicks. The designs are much bolder too… shiny gold BHM’s, Miami Vice, Leopard print, new version of Corks and the presented University Red… all are supposed to draw as much attention as possible. Let us know how do you feel about the ongoing NSW project for King James?
