Jason Petrie Shows Us His Nike Office View Today Full of Samples »

Jason Petrie has just tweeted his office view from earlier today at Nike World Headquarters. The image gives us a sneak peak at the LeBron James shoes designer’s previous works including the Nike Air Max STAT, and unreleased models of the Nike LeBron VII and Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low among other kicks. There’s a Black / Volt version of the 7 P.S. and two interesting styles of the 8 V/2 Low – Miami Dolphins and “Knicks“. Via @sevenzro1

Closer Look at Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low “Kyle Irving” Duke PE »

In the Chris Paul’s All-Star Charity game that took place in October Kyrie Irving, former Duke player, wore an unknown at that point Black & Blue based Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low PE. The fog has lifted and now we know it’s a special Duke colorway, like some of you already guessed, but it also sports his own Nike logo. KI signed an endorsement deal with the Swoosh back in the summer. Seems like the Blue Devils sophomore point guard Tyler Thornton also got shoes from Kyrie as he’s recently shared new photos via Twitter. Continue reading for more looks.

The Showcase: Nike Air Max LeBron 8 V/2 Low “Solar Red” »

In the middle of this ongoing LEBRON 9 hoopla, it’s very easy to forget about all these recent shoes carrying the number 8. This past summer Nike released five different colorways of the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low. Most headlines were occupied by the most popular – Miami Nights – but other unique styles like Sprite or the presented below Solar Red have some fans too… and rightfully so! Solar Reds use a simple color blocking with an infrared-like upper, white midsole and black outsole. The end result is simply stunning though. You are guaranteed to break some necks wearing them. All of LEBRON 8 Lows have one thing in common… they are insanely comfortable. Definitely one the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. See the whole gallery with tons of photos, after the break.

Wearing Brons: Kyle Irving Wears Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low PE »

This past July, Cleveland Cavaliers rookie and Number 1 Overall Pick Kyrie Irving confirmed via his Twitter account that he signed an endorsement deal with Nike. While no signature product has been developed for Irving just yet, you can bet that Nike has some interesting things in store for the new face of Cleveland basketball, evident by his footwear in Chris Paul’s All-Star Charity Pickup Game this past Saturday. With LeBron as one of his teammates, it was fitting that Kyrie broke out a never-before-seen PE colorway of the LeBron 8 V/2 Low. Perhaps styled as a nod to Irving’s Duke roots, the shoe is black-based with royal blue detailing along the eyestay, Swoosh logo, inner lining and 360-Max Air unit. LeBron James Gives Back in Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low “Miami Nights” »

In an effort to promote healthy and active living, LeBron James and the Sprite Spark Sports program recently renovated the outdoor basketball court at the Kendall Boys & Girls club in Miami. Surprising the young kids, LeBron arrived wearing the famed “Miami Nights” LeBron 8 V/2 Low. LeBron appeared on behalf of one of his many sponsors, Sprite, who recently donated $15,000 to help revamp the Kendall Boys & Girls Club with a renovated outdoor basketball court and a wall mural painted by Miami’s own David “Lebo” LeBatard. Nike Air Max LeBron 8 V/2 Low “Sprite” Detailed Gallery »

We’re already reading about the Nike LeBron 9 Low when even the Mid version is still pending. Let’s get back to the current events for a second here. This year Nike has released a few memorable colorways of LeBron James’ eight signature shoe and even his low-top game is at his career best right now. There are 4 basic styles of the LBJ8 Low and 1 super exclusive “Miami Nights” make up that you might have seen on TV too. Even without that last one other colorways are pretty solid on their own. LeBron 8 V2 Low “Miami Nights” Available Only at NikeTown Miami »

We promised you a follow up on the U.S. release of the Nike LeBron 8 Low in limited “Miami Nights” colorway and here it is. Last week we confirmed a stateside release without any online action, however, the actual drop will be limited to only one store. To quote Nikestore’s twitter “LeBron 8 V2 Low Miami Nights will only release at NT Miami”. More details can be found on their facebook page. Quick sum up: The launch is on Friday 9/2/11 (MSRP $150). They will be giving out wristbands on Thursday 9/1/11 from 10:30 am til end of day. The wristband will be valid on the release date (Friday 9/2/11) from 10:00am til 12:00pm, afterwards shoes will be sold first come-first serve. No phone orders will be accepted until Monday 9/5/11). Good luck for those who still hunt for a pair!

Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low “Miami Nights” U.S. Release Info »

After a ton of anticipation and releases almost everywhere (Europe, Asia) but the U.S, the “Miami Nights” Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low is set to finally release at select stateside retailers. While many had already given up hope on a U.S release, NikeStore’s U.S Twitter account recently confirmed a stateside release at select Nike retailers, but also ruled out any possibility of an online release. Official details have yet to be confirmed, but we will be sure to update you once additional release information is released.
