Nike LeBron 9 Elite “Miami Vice” Ultimate Gallery by Sneakerbox »

Here’s another look at the upcoming Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite “Miami Vice”. It’s about the tenth zillion time that we profile this South Beach themed shoe, but the new photos will definitely make you awe. Even if you’re not a fan of these shoes. The level of detail is amazing. There are so many pics that I had to split the post into two pages so be sure to check them out both. If you need a reminder, which is doubtful, the Wolf Grey/Mint Candy-New Green-Pink Flash colorway of the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite will be release on June 2nd, 2012. LeBron 9 P.S. Elite “Miami Vice” Official Images & Release Date »

Release information for all four colorways of the LeBron 9 P.S. Elite has been already posted on the release dates page, but Nike has finally confirmed the date for the Miami Vice style. The new South Beach shoe will be released on June 2nd, 2012 for $250 in the U.S. Europe, where it’s difficult to find standard Home and Away styles, and Asia have already made their launch. It’s still possible they will get more pairs in June. Along with the confirmation come official photos by Nike Basketball. We have seen the sneaker for months now, but the photos just won’t stop coming. They’re too nice.

Nike LeBron 9 GS “Miami Vice” – South Beach For Kids »

The South Beach theme has returned this year with a special version of the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite. Although this time they are actually called Miami Vice as a reference to the commercial and the journey that LeBron’s been on since he started in Miami. Apart from the adult version, the SB palette has been applied onto the regular Nike LeBron 9, but only in Kids’ sizes. That probably answers the question “is there a GS version of the Miami Vice Elites?” Probably not. Well, even if there is, I don’t think that Nike is gonna release them both. The Nike LeBron 9 GS “Miami Vice” should be released sometime soon so keep your eyes peeled. Even though it’s a GS… which Miami Vice colorway do you like better? regular or Elite?

The Showcase: LeBron 9 P.S. Elite “Miami Vice” (w/ Lace Swaps) »

Fans have argued, which nickname is a better fit for these Elites between South Beach and McFly, but Nike has already come up with its own name… Miami Vice! It all makes sense because the South Beach 8′s were indeed inspired by the Miami Vice TV show and were also known as Pre-Heat. Turns out you need at least 3 nicknames for a hot shoe. This anticipated Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite is slated for June 2nd, 2012. That’s still a lot of waiting.
We already mentioned the shoes dropped in Poland and I need to say this more… I never though I would see so much re-selling in Poland! That’s where I get most of my shoes anyway, but it’s ridiculous to see official Nike retailers to double the price and take down offers once they realized it’s better to ship them back to the U.S. using eBay. I did get my pair in a normal store, though, called pro-baller.com and was even able to help a few friends… for retail. I really hope June won’t be like that and Nike won’t make us fight for them again. They already cost $250.
Back to the shoes. They are very nice. It’s definitely and upgrade in quality compared to the regular 9′s. Like some of you pointed out ankle support is weaker, but somehow they are more stable and you get better comfort. The additional padding on the inside really makes the difference. The weight has stayed the same (16.50 oz. in 10.5). Also, they are not as tight, but I’m not sure if I would go down in size. Check out the whole gallery below. Miami Vices come with 2 pairs of laces (Green and Pink), but there are some additional lace swaps including Black and my favorite Grey.

Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite “South Beach” Arrived in Poland! »

After debuting last week, it didn’t take long for the upcoming Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite colorway to sit on the top of many sneakerhead wish lists. Already labeled as “South Beach” and “McFly” this special Wolf Grey/Mint Candy-New Green-Pink Flash shoe is having sneakerheads fight over the better nickname. The official release date is still two months away. It’s scheduled to drop on June 2nd, 2012, however, keep your eyes peeled because it’s been already spotted in Poland at ATAF. Check out the new photos. This time with Pink laces installed.

Nike LeBron 9 PS Elite “South Beach / McFly” New Images »

Home (White and Gold) and Away (Black and Gold) colorways of the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. are set to debut in April. LeBron James is expected to wear them in this year’s NBA Playoffs. Shortly after the first two make ups make their appearance, Nike is set to release more of a lifestyle version of the 9 P.S. in this special Wolf Grey/Mint Candy-New Green-Pink Flash colorway. It’s reminiscent of the legendary South Beach LeBron 8, however, the color blocking also indicates some similarities with the McFly design. Is this version worth the hefty $250 price tag? LeBron 9 P.S. Elite “Wolf Grey/Mint Candy/Pink” Release Date »

The Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite will make its debut in about one month… right around the start of the NBA Playoffs. LeBron James will get his special Home and Away styles. Looking past that is a new colorway sporting a South Beach inspired color scheme. The shoe features a Wolf Grey upper with “South Beach” references like Mint Candy swoosh logos, Green laces and midsole and Pink Flash on the midfoot support harness and inner lining. A translucent outsole is the finishing touch here. This LeBron 9 P.S. Elite is scheduled to be released on June 2nd, 2012. Retail will be $250.

Event: Nike LeBron 8 “South Beach” Release Party @ Footaction »

The Miami Vice inspired “South Beach” aka “Pre-Heat” Nike LeBron 8 has taken the sneaker community by storm since images first surfaced online in early October. After a limited Florida release on October 16th, highlighted by a LeBron James appearance at House of Hoops Miami, the shoe will finally see a wide release this Friday. To celebrate the occasion, select Footaction locations in New York City, Atlanta and Miami will be hosting midnight launch parties for the highly anticipated sneaker on Thursday.
