The Miami Vice / South Beach theme is probably the most popular inspiration among all LeBron X iD designs. After the success of both LeBron 8 South Beach and LeBron 9 P.S. Miami Vice, it was probably the right decision to skip the popular Pink / Green / Grey / Black theme for the LBJ X and let fans use their imagination. Fortunately Nike gave us great color options therefore pretty much every configuration is conceivable. Check out the Miami Vice inspired LeBron X iD sent by one of our readers Jonathan. This version uses the Nike+ Enabled model therefore it features the diamond cut Swoosh. Feel free to share your pics.

It took less than 3 minutes for the Men’s version of the Miami Vice themed LeBron 9′s to sell out at Nike’s official online store. According to the users, Eastbay didn’t even last that long. The Kids’ version took about 30 minutes to sell out in all sizes. Based on the recent events, it’s pretty much safe to assume that anything labeled as South Beach is an instant sell out, whether it’s Flip Flops, Men’s or Kids’ shoes. That’s a bit unfortunate for those who really want to cop and rock, for boys, moms and sisters. The MSRP for the Nike LeBron 9 GS is $120, but it’s difficult to find these below $200 based on current eBay listings. Don’t get me started on the Men’s prices. Check out new photos after the break.

Over the past year, the Nike LeBron 9 has done a near perfect job of combining on court performance with off court style. The performance aspect of the shoe was taken to another level at the beginning of the NBA Playoffs when the Elite model was first released. Now, the style has reached an all time high and caught up with the performance with today’s release of the Miami Vice colorway of the LeBron 9 Elite. Whether you plan to rock these at your weekly pickup game or out on a Saturday night, it will be pretty hard to go wrong with a pair of these laced up on your feet. The Miami Vice features a wolf grey upper with pink and mint accents. The black carbon fiber also lends itself to the makeup of the shoe in the heel counter and wing. The upper is made with Nike’s Hyperfuse technology and includes Kevlar-made Flywire along the sides. Originally dubbed the “South Beach,” this release is sure to be one of the most popular releases in the LeBron 9 line. No matter what you call the release, the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite “Miami Vice” will release in just a couple of minutes at nikestore.com, eastbay.com, footlocker.com, House of Hoops stores, and several other locations for $250.

Tomorrow marks the official premiere of one of the the hottest shoes of the year – the Nike LeBron P.S. Elite in the Miami Vice inspired colorway. These new South Beach themed shoes have been with us for a while after debuting on other markets over two months ago. It’s not something entirely new, but the anticipation is at all time high right now. The Miami Vice 9′s will be released tommorow at 8am EDT at nikestore.com (no phone orders) and select local Nike Baskeball retailers in limited numbers. Both Men’s Elite 9′s, presented below, and Kid’s Regular 9′s will be released. Fans in Europe won’t get a chance to purchase online, some of them already did, but they will be available at select locations including Nike Town London, Nike Town Berlin, Les Halles, Nike Paris and Stratford. The shoes have already been showcase in full detail here and here, but I wouldn’t be myself without providing some new photos for your viewing pleasure. My advice… if you do get a chance to cop them don’t hesitate!

Here’s another look at the upcoming Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite “Miami Vice”. It’s about the tenth zillion time that we profile this South Beach themed shoe, but the new photos will definitely make you awe. Even if you’re not a fan of these shoes. The level of detail is amazing. There are so many pics that I had to split the post into two pages so be sure to check them out both. If you need a reminder, which is doubtful, the Wolf Grey/Mint Candy-New Green-Pink Flash colorway of the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite will be release on June 2nd, 2012. Unlike the Taxi colorway, they will be available at Nike’s online store – nikestore.com and other major retailers. This is a limited release so don’t hesitate once you see that add to cart button.

One of the great things about LeBron James playing in Miami is… the South Beach theme. It’s one of the most popular, most wanted, and unfortunately most expensive sneaker themes on the market these days. Introduced in 2010, Nike released their first South Beach shoe to launch the Nike LeBron 8. Along with the shoes came a limited “It’s Good to be The King” t-shirt (shout out to osneaker.com!). This season, they released the LeBron Air Slide and LeBron 9 P.S. Elite, both using the eye-catching Green, Black and Pink color scheme. Finding any of these at retail is considered a miracle. Similar to other limited 9′s, the South Beach aka Miami Vice style got some matching socks from Nike Basketball. Like most or their LeBron socks – Galaxys, Freegums, Chinas, Hornets, Taxi, Floridians – the “Ocean Drive” style is limited so you won’t find them at regular stores. I was able to avoid re-sell offers on eBay and found a pair at rockemsocks. Continue reading for a gallery presenting all South Beach products on a nice family portrait.

Release information for all four colorways of the LeBron 9 P.S. Elite has been already posted on the release dates page, but Nike has finally confirmed the date for the Miami Vice style. The new South Beach shoe will be released on June 2nd, 2012 for $250 in the U.S. Europe, where it’s difficult to find standard Home and Away styles, and Asia have already made their launch. It’s still possible they will get more pairs in June. Along with the confirmation come official photos by Nike Basketball. We have seen the sneaker for months now, but the photos just won’t stop coming. They’re too nice.

The South Beach theme has returned this year with a special version of the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite. Although this time they are actually called Miami Vice as a reference to the commercial and the journey that LeBron’s been on since he started in Miami. Apart from the adult version, the SB palette has been applied onto the regular Nike LeBron 9, but only in Kids’ sizes. That probably answers the question “is there a GS version of the Miami Vice Elites?” Probably not. Well, even if there is, I don’t think that Nike is gonna release them both. The Nike LeBron 9 GS “Miami Vice” should be released sometime soon so keep your eyes peeled. Even though it’s a GS… which Miami Vice colorway do you like better? regular or Elite?
