Nike LeBron 9 Flamingo aka “Miami Nights” Custom by Mache »

Last season, following the popular South Beach 8′s, Nike released another special make up inspired by LeBron James’ new chapter in Florida. The so called Miami Nights colorway was applied onto the low-top edition of the last year’s model. Just like it’s older brother it sold out instantly making them impossible to find for the retail price of $150. This season, they went a different way and created a truly Miami Nights colorway for the Nike LeBron 9. However, if you prefer the previous version Mache Customs created a Miami Nights custom shoe using the “Mango” LeBron 9 as the base. The Solar Red and Glass Blue splatter print has been applied to the shoe’s upper just like in the original.

The Showcase: Nike LeBron 9 “Miami Nights” (Tons of Pics) »

The Miami Nights edition of the Nike LeBron 9 was definitely a nice surprise. Initially, I didn’t think it would be that good, but after seeing them in person, and wearing them on court a lot, I’ve quickly changed my mind. The design is subtle, but still eye-catching at the same time. Inspired by the bright lights of Miami, this LeBron 9 colorway is dressed in a simple but also vibrant color scheme. Jason Petrie Unveils Unreleased Nike LeBron 8 “Miami Nights” Mid »

Jason Petrie has just posted yet another sample colorway from his vault of Nike LeBron sneakers. This time it’s the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 in a very familiar colorway… the so-called Miami Nights or Flamingos, which he probably would have preferred. According to JP, the concept for these Miami inspired kicks, which were released as low-tops, was initially a Mid version. Both of them are nice, but would you prefer the Mids over the actual store product? Actually, my only regret is that they were far too limited. Via @sevenzro.

Nike LeBron 9 “Miami Nights” Couple New Pics w/ Tee »

For me, the Miami Nights colorway is one of the biggest surprises of the season. Right now it’s competing with Chinas and Cannons for the most wanted title. However, it’s always hard to beat the first colorway (a HWC-look-a-like) and the Pre-Heat shoe that got a headline on ESPN. Inspired by the nightlife in South Beach, the Miami Nights features a Black & Cool Grey upper with vivid Purple & Cherry highlights. Additionally, Nike released a matching “Air to the Throne” t-shit with the same color theme, but sadly it’s not available online. Releasing Now: Nike LeBron 9 “Homes” & “Miami Nights” »

Today, November 4, 2011, Nike is scheduled to release two more colorways of King James’ ninth signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 9. The lifestyle “Miami Nights” make up was profiled yesterday, but today we focus on the Miami Heat Home colorway. Right now it’s a shoe without a purpose as James’ was expected to debut them on NBA courts earlier this week. Both shoes are already available online at eastbay.com, they should release at nikestore.com any minute now so just keep on refreshing. Also, there’s plenty on eBay including deals from limitedshoes. As usual, there are plenty of new pics after the break or go straight to the Gallery for the whole showcase.

Release Reminder: Nike LeBron 9 “Miami Nights” »

Tomorrow, Nike is set to release two new Nike LeBron 9 colorways. Following the Away edition from last week is the Miami Heat Home version. It’s still uncertain when exactly LeBron James is going to wear his Homes or Aways due to the ongoing lockout. It won’t be this month… that’s for sure. Joining the Homes is the so called Miami Nights. Adding to the popularity of South Beach inspired shoes, such as Cannons, is this Black, Grey, Cherry, and Purple make up. It’s a different take on the Miami night life concept than the previous shoe bearing the name. Look for Miami Nights LBJ 9′s tomorrow at popular Nike retailers or online at nikestore.com. Upcoming Nike LeBron 9 “Miami Nights” Also With 2 Sets of Laces »

On the previous batch of photos, posted this past weekend, it was difficult to see any difference between Purple and Cherry colors on the Nike LeBron 9 “Miami Nights“. It was also hard to see the alternate black laces, which simply weren’t there. Fortunately, a new set photos has surfaced showing more details. Now you can fully appreciate the design, but seeing them in person, on your feet, would be the best way. November 4th is the earliest you can do that if you don’t like to pay re-sell prices on eBay. I like the idea how most of special colored LeBrons come out with 2 pairs of laces this season. The list includes Chinas, Cannons, and Miami Nights so far.

Actual Photos of Nike LeBron 9 “Miami Nights” »

Since the Cannons have been pushed back to December, now we all have more time to focus on the nearest releases. In three days the launch version will finally hit stores, but 10 days later two more LeBron 9′s will be available for purchase. On November 4th, apart from the Miami Heat Home, an entirely new colorway will be released. Referenced by Jason Petrie as the actual “Miami Nights” shoe, this Nike LeBron 9 sports a tonal grey upper with black panels. In order to live up to its name, giving the shoe a bit of South Beach color scheme are vibrant hits of puple and cherry.
