Detailed Look at Nike LeBron 8 P.S. “Gun Metal” PE »

Before the 2011 NBA Finals, LeBron James unveiled a new colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 P.S.. Initially, it was believed to be his special Finals make up. In the end this was the actual Finals colorway, but King James ended up wearing the Gun Metal Grey version in the Drew League back in July. Now we can finally get a detailed look. LeBron James Hoopin’ at Drew League in Grey LeBron 8 PS »

Last week LeBron James made a surprise appearance at Chris Chambers City League Classic nearby Cleveland. This past weekend, he stopped by the Drew League in Los Angeles for a game and he didn’t just watch, he decided to play, too. James impressed with his usual all-around game of dunks, jumpers, lay-ins, passes, and blocked shots. It’s very nice to see these highlights for proving that when you strip things like zero rings away, it can be pretty fun to watch him play basketball. The Drew League isn’t the NBA Finals, but it’s pretty cool nonetheless. Btw, he wore the Nike LeBron 8 PS in an unreleased Grey-ish colorway that he unveiled on Twitter sometime ago.

LeBron James Unveils New Nike 8 PS via Twitter. Finals Preview? »

We’re anxiously awaiting the 2011 NBA Finals for at least two reasons. One is basketball, and the other one is shoes. Jason Petrie has already hinted that if LeBron James wins his first championship ring Nike is “gonna have some fun” with it. This can mean anything, but seems like they are ready to do some damage to our wallets. Aside from that King James has just tweeted a new version of the Nike LeBron 8 PS calling it a “special edition color”. The timing indicates a possible Finals colorway, but we won’t know for sure until tomorrow when Game One tips off.
