Nike started 2015 with three Nike LeBron XII releases… all of which incorporated some sort of a graphic pattern on the Hyperposite overlays. We all do love patters, I’m sure of that, but again… getting that toned back look is harder than ever. The newest colorway of the Grade School version, presented below, also adds a new graphic overlay, but it’s not as loud as for example the Chromosomes look. It appears as if it was a new texture more than a graphic pattern. This plus a decent Red and Blue colorway called “Supes”, and some Volt details which you probably hate or love, kind of make me wish for a similar Men’s counterpart. What’s your solution when in need for a toned back look on the LeBron 12? Even the Data colorway is not as laid back as it would initially seem. Is Nike iD the only way here?Read the rest of this entry »
The LEBRON 12 for younger athletes has been thoughtfully engineered to address the specific needs of the Grade School, Pre-School, Toddler and Infant age groups as they grow in life and in basketball. “Across the range of LEBRON 12 shoes for young athletes we used Nike research to better understand the anatomy of the young athlete’s foot and focused on delivering performance not just style,” said Michael Saranthakos, Nike’s Senior Footwear Designer for Young Athletes. “We’re extremely proud of the whole range of LEBRON 12 for young athletes. They represent the kind of innovation and passion that is the hallmark of our commitment to inspire and improve all athletes.” Both NRSL and Lion’s Heart colorway have been confirmed to be released in Kids’ sizes in the upcoming weeks.Read the rest of this entry »
Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James get new summer colors available in Kids’ sizes. After an impromptu release last week at many Nike Basketball retailers Nike officially debuts the Grade School “Barbershop” Pack, which is officially slated for this Friday, May 16th. The “Barbershop” LeBron 11 GS features a Silver grey upper, light blue accents on the outsole and the inner lining and eye-catching pinstripe Swoosh and red laces. Would you consider this for a pickup in Men’s?Read the rest of this entry »
A new Black, Photo Blue and Tour Yellow colorway of the Nike Max LeBron XI is available now at Champs Sports. So far it’s only for Kids, but I really hope these will come out in Men’s too. It’s been my favorite version of the LeBron 11 Low ever since the first pics surfaced back in February. This all new Grade School colorway sports a popular color combo reminiscent of the “Entourage” LeBron 8 V/2, but with a much more toned back look. Do you prefer these over the previous Laser Crimson and Easter styles?
LeBron James’ signature Dunkman pose makes a comeback with the Nike LeBron XI Low next month. The Men’s version of the LeBron 11 Low uses the LeBron 9 outsole, but the Kids’ version still uses the LeBron 8 V/2 outsole. Other than that the Grade School edition is pretty much the same as adult’s… even in the presented Dunkman colorway.Read the rest of this entry »
The Nike Basketball Elite “Team Collection” arrives in exactly one week. This includes the Men’s LEBRON 11 ELITE TEAM, which is a new construction featuring a lower cut and new articulated external cage for added support. Kids will get a new version too, however, there’s no Elite option for the LeBron 11 GS and as usual it’s just a new colorway that looks like Men’s Elites. The Nike LeBron XI GS in the Wolf Grey colorway with Camo details drops alongside the Men’s style next Saturday for $140. Do you prefer this look on regular 11’s based on the Grade School version below or the Men’s Elite?

|From Nike LeBron X…|
I know Kids’ shoes are all about colors and fun. But the latest creation from Nike Basketball may injure your little one’s eyes. The new Volt and Orange colorway of the Nike LeBron XI Low is probably the brightest pair of shoes I’ve ever seen and it should come out with a pair of sunglasses for safety. These should come out in the upcoming weeks in Grade School sizes. I know this a general wondering, but why all the shoes have to be so bright these days?!? Last year there were 11 colorways of the LeBron X Low and apart from the USAB version the rest had at least one bright hue popping out hard.Read the rest of this entry »
Last year, Nike created the Superhero pack for their marquee athletes – Kobe, KD, and LeBron – which resulted in special colorways of their signature sneakers. Turns out we can expect a similar move for this year’s Elite series. This solves the mystery of the special logo on the tongue of the Crimson / Teal colorway of the Nike LeBron 11 Elite. Durant’s Nike KD VI Elite features a very similar emblem. However, there are no Elite variants for Kids, therefore the same Crimson and Teal make up has been applied onto the Grade School version of the regular LeBron XI as seen below. It’s probably the right thing to do because imagine Kids paying $200-ish for a pair of basketball shoes. That wouldn’t be right.Read the rest of this entry »
