In just a couple of moments, Nike unveils the LEBRON 12 Cereal, the third of a three-shoe Nike Snack Attack Pack designed exclusively for kids. The seven-color LEBRON 12 Cereal is inspired by the favorite snacks of LeBron James when he was a kid… the Fruity Pebbles. This means a comeback of the infamous design that graced the Zoom LeBron IV silhouette back in the day, but this time it’s for kids only. I’m pretty sure that adult sneakerheads wouldn’t mind rocking these too. The sneaker is even more colorful than before that established the theme and a little more abstract compared to with the LeBron 4 “Fruity Pebbles” PE that had clearly depicted the breakfast cereal. After several push-backs the “Cereal” LeBron 12 GS arrives tomorrow at 10am EDT along with the “What If” Men’s version that was released globally this past weekend.

LeBron James may finally wear special Easter edition sneakers in an actual NBA game. Nike Basketball decided prepare the Mid version instead of the Lows and it’s easier to break the dress code rules these days since NBA decided to permit players to bring out special sneakers on holidays. Here’s a new look at the “Easter” Nike LeBron XII but this time it’s the Kids’ version. The release date for these has been set to April 2nd, 2015.

Nike Basketball is about to release a three-shoe Nike Snack Attack Pack designed exclusively for young athletes that will roll out over the coming weeks. The inspiration is based on the favorite snacks of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and LeBron James when they were kids. All of their signature shoes will be released in special cereal make ups. For LeBron James it obviously means the comeback of the “Fruity Pebbles”, which initiated with the Zoom LeBron IV for one of the most legendary creations in Nike’s history. Last season, Nike released a “Fruity Pebbles” colorway of the LeBron 11 GS, which incorporated the colorful outsole, but this time the graphic cereal print dominates the design for the “Fruity Pebbles” LeBron 12 GS. The launch is planned for March 11th. The retail price is $160.

Nike started 2015 with three Nike LeBron XII releases… all of which incorporated some sort of a graphic pattern on the Hyperposite overlays. We all do love patters, I’m sure of that, but again… getting that toned back look is harder than ever. The newest colorway of the Grade School version, presented below, also adds a new graphic overlay, but it’s not as loud as for example the Chromosomes look. It appears as if it was a new texture more than a graphic pattern. This plus a decent Red and Blue colorway called “Supes”, and some Volt details which you probably hate or love, kind of make me wish for a similar Men’s counterpart. What’s your solution when in need for a toned back look on the LeBron 12? Even the Data colorway is not as laid back as it would initially seem. Is Nike iD the only way here?

The LEBRON 12 for younger athletes has been thoughtfully engineered to address the specific needs of the Grade School, Pre-School, Toddler and Infant age groups as they grow in life and in basketball. “Across the range of LEBRON 12 shoes for young athletes we used Nike research to better understand the anatomy of the young athlete’s foot and focused on delivering performance not just style,” said Michael Saranthakos, Nike’s Senior Footwear Designer for Young Athletes. “We’re extremely proud of the whole range of LEBRON 12 for young athletes. They represent the kind of innovation and passion that is the hallmark of our commitment to inspire and improve all athletes.” Both NRSL and Lion’s Heart colorway have been confirmed to be released in Kids’ sizes in the upcoming weeks.

Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James get new summer colors available in Kids’ sizes. After an impromptu release last week at many Nike Basketball retailers Nike officially debuts the Grade School “Barbershop” Pack, which is officially slated for this Friday, May 16th. The “Barbershop” LeBron 11 GS features a Silver grey upper, light blue accents on the outsole and the inner lining and eye-catching pinstripe Swoosh and red laces. Would you consider this for a pickup in Men’s?

A new Black, Photo Blue and Tour Yellow colorway of the Nike Max LeBron XI is available now at Champs Sports. So far it’s only for Kids, but I really hope these will come out in Men’s too. It’s been my favorite version of the LeBron 11 Low ever since the first pics surfaced back in February. This all new Grade School colorway sports a popular color combo reminiscent of the “Entourage” LeBron 8 V/2, but with a much more toned back look. Do you prefer these over the previous Laser Crimson and Easter styles?

LeBron James’ signature Dunkman pose makes a comeback with the Nike LeBron XI Low next month. The Men’s version of the LeBron 11 Low uses the LeBron 9 outsole, but the Kids’ version still uses the LeBron 8 V/2 outsole. Other than that the Grade School edition is pretty much the same as adult’s… even in the presented Dunkman colorway.
