LeBron Debuts LeBron 9 “Ohio State” PE at OKC Charity Game »

It wasn’t an All-Star Game, but Oklahoma City sure treated it like one. A crowd of 12,874 at the Cox Convention Center saw stars like LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook (White team) duke it out with Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony and James Harden (Blue team) in a surprisingly entertaining game, the White Team prevailing in overtime, 176-171. The hometown hero – Kevin Durant – recorded a triple-double with 42 points, 26 rebounds and 11 assists, but Mike Beasley also turned it up last night at by dropping 56 points while wearing the Nike Zoom LeBron IV. King James sported the Ohio State version of the Nike LeBron 9. It was a PE with OSU’s logo on the tongue.

LeBron Debuts New Shoes at South Florida All Star Classic Game »

With NBA still in lockout situation it’s all up to NBA stars to organize basketball games. The Miami Heat “Big Three” hosted the South Florida All-Star Classic Game on Saturday night at U.S. Century Bank Arena at Florida International University. Team Wade defeated Team LeBron 141-140 in an overtime win. If anybody thought Miami Heat stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were putting on a charity game simply to have some fun, guess again. With James and Wade on opposite teams, both guys really wanted bragging rights. James late in the game was arguing calls. Wade blocked a key shot in overtime. The game ended with James throwing in a 40-footer at the buzzer. Even though the announcer said it should have counted for four points, it was worth just three, and Team LeBron fell a point short. Just as expected King James debuted the Nike LeBron 9 in the Cannon colorway, which was released yesterday in Miami and has started his 2011-2012 shoes timeline.

LeBron to Debut “Pre-Heat” 9′s at South Florida All-Star Game. »

LeBron James will debut the Nike LeBron 9 “Cannon” aka “Pre-Heat” in the South Florida Classic All-Star Game. You can watch the game tonight at cbsmiami.com at 7:30 PM. For this occasion Nike Basketball is releasing the shoes in limited quantities. Similar to last year’s LEBRON 8 “South Beach” colorway, the LEBRON 9 Cannon will first be released exclusively in Miami as a sign of appreciation and respect for LeBron’s South Florida fans and community. The official premiere has been set for midnight. Look for them at select retail locations e.g. House of Hoops and Nike Town.

James Unveils New LEBRON 8 P.S. PE During CP3 All-Star Game »

Yesterday, we mentioned about Kyle Irving wearing his Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low PE during the Chris Paul All-Star Charity Game, but LeBron James also wore something new. Finally some decent photos have surfaced on the web, which show a new LEBRON 8 P.S. Player Exclusive. It’s very similar to his Miami Heat Away PE from the Eastern Conference Finals against the Bulls. The main difference is a white midsole and outsole, which change the color blocking on the shoe. See how both of them compare after the break. The way things are going right now, King James should wear something really sick in the upcoming “South Florida All-Star Classic” on October 8th.

LBJ Rocking “South Beach” 8 P.S. in Exhibition Game in Philly »

This Sunday, LeBron James was making his fourth appearance in a summer pro-am game amid the NBA lockout, having also participated in events in Cleveland, Los Angeles and Washington this offseason. This time he played alongside Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul in Philadelphia. He is scheduled to join Heat teammate Dwyane Wade for Paul’s Oct. 1 charity game in Winston-Salem, N.C. During yesterday’s game he unveiled a new PE colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 P.S. It’s kind of a hybrid between the Souch Beach 8′s and the All-Star 7′s, but as you can image the outcome is pretty nice. Only blurry pics after the break, but hopefully we will get a better look soon.

LeBron James Hoopin’ at Drew League in Grey LeBron 8 PS »

Last week LeBron James made a surprise appearance at Chris Chambers City League Classic nearby Cleveland. This past weekend, he stopped by the Drew League in Los Angeles for a game and he didn’t just watch, he decided to play, too. James impressed with his usual all-around game of dunks, jumpers, lay-ins, passes, and blocked shots. It’s very nice to see these highlights for proving that when you strip things like zero rings away, it can be pretty fun to watch him play basketball. The Drew League isn’t the NBA Finals, but it’s pretty cool nonetheless. Btw, he wore the Nike LeBron 8 PS in an unreleased Grey-ish colorway that he unveiled on Twitter sometime ago.

Event recap: 03/01/08 Cleveland’s Got Sole Exhibition »

The Cleveland’s Got Sole event that took place last Saturday turned out to be a great success. The show was organized by a few people, which names are familiar to the Nike LeBron fans. Shout out to KDogLBJ23, Tprel, Srr1175 and all the others who made this happen. The show’s main goal, apart from exhibiting, buying and selling sneakers was raising money for the Finish Line Youth Foundation. A total of $2510 was raised for the good cause. Event recap: 06/23/07 ISB 2007 »

The International Sneaker Battle premiered last year, and returned to Edison, NJ for the first of three 2007 stops. Aside from being a competition among obsessive and passionate hobbyists, the ISB serves as a playground where generations of culture come to gather and play. International Sneaker Battle took place on June 23rd in New Jersey at NJ Convention and Expo Center. This event is worth mentioning here because the main prize went to a long-time LeBron collector named Todd aka Tprel. He has some serious heat including 1-of-3 Air Jordan IX SVSM LeBron PE.
