LeBron Debuts New Shoes at South Florida All Star Classic Game »

With NBA still in lockout situation it’s all up to NBA stars to organize basketball games. The Miami Heat “Big Three” hosted the South Florida All-Star Classic Game on Saturday night at U.S. Century Bank Arena at Florida International University. Team Wade defeated Team LeBron 141-140 in an overtime win. If anybody thought Miami Heat stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were putting on a charity game simply to have some fun, guess again. With James and Wade on opposite teams, both guys really wanted bragging rights. James late in the game was arguing calls. Wade blocked a key shot in overtime. The game ended with James throwing in a 40-footer at the buzzer. Even though the announcer said it should have counted for four points, it was worth just three, and Team LeBron fell a point short. Just as expected King James debuted the Nike LeBron 9 in the Cannon colorway, which was released yesterday in Miami and has started his 2011-2012 shoes timeline.

Wade & LeBron Get Real NBA Finals Miami Heat PEs »

LeBron James’ shoe game has been kind of low-key this season. Even in the Playoffs, he’s opted for blend in colorways of the Nike LeBron 8 PS. Although Nike has cooked up some great shoes for him, especially the South Beach version of the V1, he hasn’t worn anything that crazy in an actual NBA game. Well, it’s the 2011 NBA Finals… we’re already approaching Game 3 so here’s a preview of Dwyane Wade and LeBron’s bold Miami Heat styles, that they are expected to introduce tomorrow in Dallas. They’re still Red/Black/White/Yellow shoes as you’d expect, but Red takes the center stage here. No word on a possible release, but I guess all is possible if they win it all. Would you cop?

Dwyane Wade & LeBron James lead Heat past Celtics into East finals »

LeBron James loves those big game 5′s, doesn’t he? The Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics 97-87 Wednesday in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. The Heat won the series 4-1, and will play either Chicago or Atlanta in the conference finals. Guard Dwyane Wade led all scorers with 34 points, but it was the fourth-quarter play of LeBron James that propelled the Heat into the next round. The Heat’s Big 3 of James, Chris Bosh and Wade combined for 81 of the 97 points. They combined for 23 of the 26 fourth-quarter points. The stat was more damaging, considering Boston’s trio of Garnett, Paul Pierce and Allen totaled just 45 points. James, who scored 33 points, had three baskets in the closing moments to help Miami close out the series. The Heat trailed 87-81 late in the fourth quarter, but finished with a 16-0 run.

Things Get Physical as Wade Leads Heat to Chippy Game 1 Win »

Now that the Miami HEAT have had a feeling-out game with the Boston Celtics, they’ll have plenty of details to iron out in practice tomorrow. But taking only their Game 1 victory into consideration, the HEAT were exactly the team they wanted to be. The HEAT avoided the slow starts they had against the Philadelphia 76ers, they swarmed on defense and executed on offense, they got bench production and through every run the Celtics made, they stood tough, both mentally and physically. It wasn’t perfection, but it was impressive. The Heat defeated the Celtics 99-90 Sunday in the Eastern Conference semifinals, taking a 1-0 series lead. Guard Dwyane Wade scored a game-high 38 points while reserve forward James Jones added 25 points, including five 3-pointers. LeBron James added 22 points, six rebounds and five assists.

King’s Feet: LeBron James and Dwyane Wade Meet Rafael Nadal »

Over the weekend, the best in tennis met the best in NBA basketball Saturday evening at the Sony Ericsson Open Miami. Before his win over Kei Nishikori, Rafael Nadal and LeBron James of the Miami Heat shared a few moments together on Stadium Court. James was joined by teammate Dwyane Wade and Brandy who sang the anthem during the star-studded night in Miami. “There’s certain things in Miami that guys should experience,” said Wade who brought along his mom and two sons to watch Rafa. “So I had to drag LeBron out here, but I think this is something he’ll probably come back to next year and come back for years after that. This is a good experience. It?s something different and it’s a great day off, getting over here with the kids.” LeBron wore some running shoes – Nike Lunarclipse+ – but LBJ’s and D-Wade’s kids have a serious kicks game too. Btw, Rafa has a great signature series too with his Courtballistec line.

Heat Get Needed Win, Beat Lakers. Stop Five Game Loosing Streak. »

Dwyane Wade’s steal late in the game set up LeBron James for the dunk that put Miami ahead to stay with 1:27 left. Chris Bosh scored 24 points in his first outing after saying he wanted more shots, and the Heat beat the Los Angeles Lakers 94-88 on Thursday night to end a five-game losing streak and hand the two-time defending NBA champions their first loss in nine games. “We had everything riding on this game, really, to be honest with you,” Bosh said. Wade, who also had been unhappy with a reduced role late in recent games, was the Heat’s closer Thursday. He scored eight of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and also hounded Kobe Bryant into an 8-of-21 shooting performance. Bryant returned to the court after the game and spent nearly 90 minutes working on shots. Continue reading for more Miami Heat photos from the last two weeks.

LeBron’s Next Chapter Starts With Heat Win. Wade gets Hurt. »

LeBron’s next chapter starts with a 105-89 Heat win over the Pistons. The Big Three were together for merely three minutes. LeBron James and Chris Bosh more than picked up the slack after Dwyane Wade’s preseason debut came to a quick end. Longtime Heat guard limped off the court with a strained right hamstring and would not return. And with that, this era for the Miami Heat got off to a promising, but not perfect, start. James and Bosh combined for 38 points in their exhibition debuts, and the Heat easily beat the Detroit Pistons 105-89 in the preseason opener for both teams Tuesday night. By the final buzzer, most of the crowd was long gone. Most came to see the opening moments of this trio’s time together, and the fanfare was the sort simply not seen at most preseason games. LBJ sported his “preseason” kicks – the Zoom Soldier IV in a Miami Heat colorway.
