LeBron James and the Nike Sportswear design team are constantly looking for ways to experiment with different materials, palettes, and silhouettes. Though denim is often reserved for jeans and jackets, it also makes for a distinct footwear option… something that wouldn’t be reasonable on a performance shoe. The design employs different LeBron insignia along the tongue and outsole. Featuring a mostly denim and black leather upper, the LeBron 11 EXT is made for traversing city nightlife. But a drop-in Zoom midsole affords you on-court like comfort… a must for the King. The presented LeBron 11 Ext Denim will be available this Saturday, April 26th. Bad news for those who were happy about the Blue Suede version keeping the same retail price as the regular model. The Denims cost $250.

We still await Nike’s official unveiling for the LeBron 11 EXT series, but a possible release date might be sooner than you think. Earlier this week, Footlocker Europe updated their launch calendar with the presented Denim version of the Nike LeBron XI EXT, which was supposed to be released in two weeks time on March 26th. However, they took down the LEBRON XI EXT QS “DENIM” release information, which either means it has been postponed or maybe it will be a true Quickstrike launch without much of an announcement… just like int he old days. Take a closer look at the Denim 11′s below… including an on-feet look and let us know if you plan to add these to your collection anytime soon?

After a series of leaks and previews, it seems like we have a full overview of the upcoming EXT collection of the Nike LeBron XI. Last year it was also four different casual-oriented styles including Cork, Denim, Brown Suede and Black Nubuck. This time it’s a different approach. For the LEBRON 11 EXT Nike brings fresh ideas starting with the Blue Suede, Dark Blue Denim (with hits of Leather), Black Suede with shiny Hyperposite (King’s Crown) and reversed King’s Pride, which doesn’t seem to introduce any new materials. Maybe it should not belong here, but they look so good together. Notice that the EXT series features LeBron James’ NSW lion logo on the top of the tongue. Hopefully proper confirmations and release details are just around the corner. Stay tuned for details. Photos via @sneakercaesar.

Following yesterday’s unveiling of the Blue Suede LeBron XI EXT, we now have a look at yet another Nike Sportswear version of the LEBRON 11… using a Black Leather / Blue Denim upper. There’s no word on whether Nike plans to release these to public, but the LeBron XI EXT is coming… that’s for sure. The question is… which of the colorways will actually release to public and which of them will remain as a PE / Sample. Last year the EXT series was very popular. Do you think it will be the same this season? Photo via @jdollasign84.

First, there was cork that started it all. Then, there was the Nike LeBron X EXT Denim QS. Nike found a great way to prolong the attention around the LeBron X with the Sportswear series and fans looking for a more alternative casual lifestyle look were finally satisfied. Personally, this is my favorite LeBron X NSW for two reasons. Primo… the timing for the launch was perfect as King James took home the 2013 NBA Championship. Secundo… it’s the cheapest from the group and the only LeBron X EXT with a regular $180 price tag. We’re all collectors. Nike knows that, but getting all 4 pairs for $250 would be crazy so we did get a break with this one. Actually, the hefty price tag is the reason why I have failed to complete the 4-pack with the last one falling out of my budget. Continue reading for a very detailed gallery on the Denim X’s including a pink lace swap. I’d go with the original look, though.

Limited sneaker releases tend to bring the worst in some people. Here’s the latest example. The release of the Nike LeBron X Denim shoe has been blemished by violence in Little Five Points, GA. The Denim X’s have been eagerly anticipated – especially in light of the Miami Heat pulling out a nail-biting victory over the San Antonio Spurs last Thursday. Early Saturday morning, a man who tried to rob people waiting in line to purchase the shoes was shot and killed by one of the customers. The unidentified robber was fatally shot outside of the Wish clothing and shoe store. His shooter is reportedly licensed to carry a concealed weapon and returned to his place in line after the shooting. Assuming every detail reported is true, this unfortunate story seems to be about the deceased robber attempting to take advantage of the situation, not the shoes or LeBron James. Hopefully, the rest of the releases worldwide was much safer than this one. Getting back to the shoes… check out the Denims in an alternate look with Pink laces.

Everything seems to be falling right into place for Nike as they are about to release their second NSW version of the Nike LeBron X, following LeBron James’ second NBA ring. It’s also fitting that the Denim colorway joins the Cork edition, which was Nike’s celebratory shoe after LBJ’s first title. Did getting the Denims just got that much harder? It does seem so especially after they were updated with a much nicer price tag of $180 instead of $250 on the Corks. The LeBron X EXT Denim QS will be available tomorrow at 8AM EST in the morning time. Eastbay, Nikestore, House of Hoops and plenty of other retailers including numerous locations in Europe have already confirmed the drop. Who’s copping?

Our friends at nicekicks.com have included the Nike LeBron X “Denim” in their latest Sneaker Anatomy segment. This lifestyle colorway carries over many of the technical aspects that make the LeBron X a juggernaut on the hardwood, adapting the silo for casual wear. Dark denim decks out the upper on this EXT iteration of the Nike LeBron X. Standard lines are intact, while this makeup remains seamless and smooth. Perforations add to the aesthetic while aiding ventilation. Two-tone branding tags the teal and toe box. Doubling as eyelets and interior support, Dynamic Flywire is all fit on the Denim X’s. Fireberry thread pops up on the exterior to secure the laces, but is best seen from the inside out. Hazelnut leather has its way with the tongue and the laces. Such styling aids the casual aesthetic, creating a dressy compliment to the dark denim base. Charging it to the game, LeBron James’ signature is laser etched on the back tab of the tongue. The lux interior is completed by a fireberry leather insole. LeBron’s logo is stamped in the heel. The Zoom Max unit is seen in fireberry fashion, baring the bright tone in the support and on the midsole. The Nike LeBron X “Denim” is capped off with a translucent outsole. The icy aesthetic is injected with a fireberry hue. Hit the jump for an addition look at this new Nike Sportswear LeBron X design.
