Detailed Look at Nike LeBron 9 “Christ the King” Away PE »

Just yesterday we got a detailed look at the LeBron 9 CTK Home PE, but here’s the first decent photoshoot presenting the Away pair (posing next to the Homes). The Christ the King Away Player Exclusive is very similar to the SVSM’s with the main color as the only major difference – Green for SVSM Irish, Maroon for CTK Royals. Just like in other cases, school PEs are reserved for the players only and LeBron James’ Friends & Family. LeBron recently wore the Fairfax colorway, which is an ideal match for the Miami Heat, but CTK’s are the only ones he has never worn on court.

Detailed Look at Nike LeBron 9 “Christ the King” Home PE »

Last month we got a chance to preview this year’s Christ the King colorways of the Nike LeBron 9 on the very first pics that surfaced the Internet. Fortunately we’re upgrading from those blurry shots for a much better look. Unlike the Saint Vincent Saint Mary High School, which got both LeBron 9′s and Soldier 5′s for the season, the CTK Royals got only the 9′s for balling this season. The CTK Home colorway of the Nike LeBron 9 features a mix of White, Maroon and Gold on the upper with a speckled midsole and the “Christ the King” logo on the top of the tongue.

Nike LeBron 9 “Christ the King” Home & Away PEs »

At the beginning of the season Nike released three college colorways of the Nike LeBron 9 – Kentucky, Ohio State and Hurricanes. The retail models came without school logos, but fans were able to buy a pair at least. High school colorways on the other hand are not meant for public. Last week the SVSM and Fairfax styles were unveiled, but now it’s time for the last one from the pack – Christ the King in both Home and Away make ups.

Nike Zoom Soldier IV “Christ the King” ver 5.0 Home PE »

We already profiled 4 different versions of the SVSM Soldier IV’s. LeBron James’ alma matter is usually the most popular among all school options… and rightfully so. However, this year Christ the King High School got even more styles exclusive to their basketball team. The list includes the HOH released version (#1), the Home PE (#2), the Away PE (#3), a special CTK vs Rice make up (#4), and this last one presented below… an alternate Home Player Exclusive (#5). Wow… 5 different shoes for one team… that’s a lot. Hopefully we will see some of those new LeBron sponsored schools get a similar treatment next season.

Nike Zoom Soldier IV “Christ the King” ver. 4.0 Alternate PE »

Apart from numerous variations of Home and Away colorways, Nike designed a special make up of the Nike Zoom Soldier IV for Christ the King High School basketball team. If you look at the tongue, you’ll notice the date of Feburary 5th, 2011 embossed instead of LeBron James’ signature lionhead logo. This shoe is a commemorative colorway marking CTK’s conference game against the Rice Raiders, a match up labeled as “The Greatest High School Basketball Spectacle” due to popularity and rivalry of both NYC based schools. This is the first time we’re seeing the shoes up close. There’s even a pair on ebay up for grabs.

Nike Zoom Soldier IV “Christ the King” ver. 3.0 Away PE »

The new LeBron James team shoe – Air Max Soldier V – has been already released, but we still have some catching up to do with the previous installment – Zoom Soldier IV. This past season Nike X LeBron sponsored schools got more personalized colorways than usual. For instance Christ the King High School got Version 1.0, which was released to public last year. Version 2.0Home PE – was worn by CTK Royals in most of thier 2010-2011 basketball games as well as the presented below Away PE. We already posted blurry pics of these shoes, but this time we get a much cleaner look.

Nike Zoom Soldier IV (4) CTK Away Alternate Player Exclusive »

Unlike previous years, this season Nike equipped their LeBron James sponsored High Schools with not two, but four colorways of the team oriented Zoom Soldier line. We already profiled Christ the King’s Home and Away editions of the Nike Zoom Soldier IV. We also mentioned, that there are more colorways out there and today we present an alternate version of the Away pair. This version features more team colors of Maroon and Gold. There’s also a Home alternate, but right now there are no photos available. Similar story with the LBJ’s alma matter SVSM. More info on this matter as it develops. Thanks to bigsupa for the photos.
