Another Look at Big Apple Nike LeBron VII. Xmas’ Comparison. »

Big Apple. We will hear that name a lot over the next couple months. Especially now, when the Summer of LeBron might begin sooner than expected. Even Spike Lee is rooting for the Celtics in the name of LeBron James. Maybe it’s time for Nike to release some of those New York City inspired LeBron kicks. That would add more fuel to all that trade rumors fire. They can always pretend it’s one of Cavs’ Hardwood Classic styles. Leaked: Nike Air Max LeBron VII Xmas Sample / Big Apple PE »

This year’s Christmas‘ were nice. Click here to see some details pics. However, there’s another Air Max LeBron VII shoe, which fits that Candy Red and Green theme. Who knows… maybe it should have been released as well. Actually it was supposed to be a successor of the popular Big Apple colorway of the Zoom LeBron VI, but either way, Nike has kept them under wraps. Leaked: Nike Air Max LeBron VII Christmas Sample Colorway »

The Christmas joints were not bad this year. Premium quality leather was definitely a nice touch. Too bad they didn’t come with a set of Green laces, but the worst part was the bumped up $180 price tag. By the way… you can get them for cheap now… they have been marked down to $108 at NDC. Anyway… have you ever wondered how they could have been like? Now you don’t have to. Thanks to RNRUP we get a peek at one of the Sample colorways that have never made it out of Beaverton. They feature a Candy Red upper with Flywire and Patent Leather wraparound, White speckled midsole and laces plus couple Green details (f.e. metal eyelets and the L23 badge on the back). All this gives a nice Chrismassy look… probably more so than the production version. There’s only one photo for now, but stay tuned for more.

LeBron James’ Air Max LeBron VII Christmas Edition With Green Laces »

Christmas shoes should be Red and Green in order to mirror the Holiday’s magical spirit… Santa, Xmas trees etc. Nike did a nice job on this special edition of the Air Max LeBron VII as they feature a fading Red upper and a little Green crown in the L23 logo on the medial side. The problem is there’s too little Green on the shoes! That’s why when I saw LeBron James sporting his PE with a special set of Green laces I was very excited. Unfortunately, turns out the retail version comes with two pair of strings, but none of them is Green. What a drama. As you can see here there are Black and Red laces included with the XMas VII’s. Red laces match the Red Air Max unit, but that’s not enough. We want Greeeeeen!

LeBron, Cavs Shine in Rout of Kobe, Lakers. LBJ Debuts the Xmas VII. »

The yellow foam hands came flying in from every corner of the lower bowl, sailing onto the court in dozens of frisbee-style arches late in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ dominant victory. LeBron James was more worried than amused by this unusual display of frustration from the Los Angeles Lakers’ fans – and he got a bit more concerned when at least one water bottle followed the foam. Despite that bit of surreality in response to the officiating of a physical game, the Cavaliers were hands-down better than the defending NBA champions in a 102-87 victory on Friday night. “The only thing that you hope doesn’t happen is one of the players getting hit or a referee getting hit, especially by a full water bottle,” James said. “When that came on the court, it was coming pretty fast. You don’t want that to happen because it could definitely hurt somebody. Luckily no one got hurt, and that’s a good thing.” LBJ rocked the Xmas edition of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII including a special set of Christmassy Green laces. Final Preview of the Christmas Air Max LeBron VII. $20 Mark Up. »

Here’s another preview of the upcoming Nike Air Max LeBron VII Christmas Limited Edition. If you want to rock ‘em just like LeBron Puppet did, be on the look out on the 26th – the day after Kobe and LeBron face off in L.A. Kobe will debut his special kicks – Zoom Kobe V “Chaos” – while King James will be wearing the AMLVII XMas. They will be available at all House of Hoops stores plus it’s possible they will reach nikestore.com. Now for the bad news… according to several sources they will cost $180, which is $20 more than the MSRP for the regular models. Hopefully, there’s something special included, cause $160 was expensive enough. Check out new pics below… featuring a special Christmasy insole. These weren’t included in our LBJ7 poll, but do you like these shoes?

A Detailed Look at the Upcoming Christmas Air Max LeBron 7 »

We have mentioned the XMas LBJ7 couple times already, but we’ve been also using the poor photos excuse to pass our judgment of this special colorway. Now, as we finally get to see good pics let’s take a closer look. The Christmas Nike Air Max LeBron is slated for 12/26. It features a gradient Crimson to Black upper with Reddish criss-cross Flywire pattern. The 360 Max Air unit is a little brighter than all other components, which pops right out. The finishing touch is a Green crown in the L23 logo on the medial side. After all it’s XMas. Also, don’t forget the special insole presenting baby LeBron getting his first Basketball set. What’s your final take? Hot or not?

Xmas Air Max LeBron 7 (VII) Scheduled to Drop on December 26th »

If you’re awaiting the release of the Xmas VII or simple making a wishlist for Santa, here’s some information. The Christmas Limited Edition of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII will drop on December 26th, 2009. It’s a limited quantity energy shoe so don’t expect to see many of them reaching retail. Please keep in mind that unlike the Red Carpets, which were also limited, but broadly available, the Xmas VII’s will be harder to get. Couple new photos after the break.
