LeBron James Gets a Ring for His Queen. Proposes in Jordan III’s. »

Moments after ringing in the new year, LeBron James surprised his high school sweetheart Savannah Brinson by popping the question – letting very few people in on the secret beforehand. Yes, she said yes. He did it at a party both to celebrate New Year’s Eve and his 27th birthday, which was Friday. “It should be a surprise for any woman anytime something like that happens,” James said. “She was surprised. It was great that all the friends and family were there to bring in a new year. Even my kids were happy about it, so that’s good… I feel good. I feel good. It’s a good point in my life right now.” What do you think about his outfit? In particular his interesting choice of kicks? Congratulations LeBron!

LeBron Debuts New Shoes at South Florida All Star Classic Game »

With NBA still in lockout situation it’s all up to NBA stars to organize basketball games. The Miami Heat “Big Three” hosted the South Florida All-Star Classic Game on Saturday night at U.S. Century Bank Arena at Florida International University. Team Wade defeated Team LeBron 141-140 in an overtime win. If anybody thought Miami Heat stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were putting on a charity game simply to have some fun, guess again. With James and Wade on opposite teams, both guys really wanted bragging rights. James late in the game was arguing calls. Wade blocked a key shot in overtime. The game ended with James throwing in a 40-footer at the buzzer. Even though the announcer said it should have counted for four points, it was worth just three, and Team LeBron fell a point short. Just as expected King James debuted the Nike LeBron 9 in the Cannon colorway, which was released yesterday in Miami and has started his 2011-2012 shoes timeline.

The Miami Heat have officially kicked off the 2010-2011 Training Camp by participating in Media Day at the University of Miami. The Heat will start their workout Tuesday at Hurlburt Field, a U.S. Air Force installation in Florida’s Panhandle. Yesterday, LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade were interviewed by NBA and posed for some pictures. King James sported his newest signatute kicks – Nike LeBron 8 – unlike in July (during his welcoming party) when he presented his new no. 6 jersey wearing some basic Nikes. LeBron James & Wade & Bosh Welcoming Party with Miami Heat »

Yesterday, LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade signed six-year contracts… it’s a done deal… they are members of the Miami Heat. The Heat completed sign-and-trade deals with Cleveland and Toronto on Friday night for their two newest superstars. The Heat sent two future first-round and two second-round picks to the Cavaliers for James, while packaging two first-round picks to the Raptors for Bosh. James, Bosh and Dwyane Wade all signed six-year contracts Friday night, each leaving millions of dollars on the table in order to provide the Heat flexibility to build a championship roster. Each player took $15 million less over the life of the contract to sign with Miami – none would say how much less – to get the deals done. All three contracts, have an early termination option after the fourth season that would allow LeBron, Bosh and Wade to return to free agency in the summer of 2014. King James will wear No. 6 in Miami, Bosh No. 1, both having switched their numbers. Wade considered swapping his No. 3 as well. “Then I realized, three is magical, and now it represents more than just my number,” Wade said. “It represents the three of us making sacrifices as well.” With 13,000 fans chanting “Yes We Did!” amid an atmosphere more suited to a rock concert than a basketball game, the Miami Heat welcomed the NBA’s newest trio of superstars Friday night for a celebration unlike just about any other in team history.

Breaking News: LeBron James is Headed to Miami to Join Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh »

header wade bosh lebron in miami Breaking News: LeBron James is Headed to Miami to Join Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh

Sorry, Chicago, New York and New Jersey. But, most of all… sorry Cleveland :(. LeBron James chose superstar help over the comforts of home and is heading for Miami because he wants to win a championship with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. “I can’t say it was always in my plans, because I never thought it was possible,” James said on a made-for-Lebron live show on ESPN. “But the things that the Miami Heat franchise have done, to free up cap space and be able to put themselves in a position this summer to have all three of us, it was hard to turn down. Those are two great players, two of the greatest players that we have in this game today.” Olympic teammates in Beijing, James, Bosh and Wade all helped deliver gold medals. This time, it’ll be about a gold trophy, the NBA championship one – the one Wade got in 2006, the one that James and Bosh have yet to touch. In Cleveland, the immediate reaction was predictably filled with outrage (see Dan Gilbert’s open letter to Cavs’ fans). Television images showed at least one fan burning James’ No. 23 wine-and-gold jersey. “I can’t get involved in that,” he said. “I wanted to do what was best for LeBron James … At the end of the day, I feel awful. I feel even worse that I wasn’t able to bring an NBA championship to that city. “To my real fans out there, I hope that you’ll continue to support me all the way to Miami.” via NBA.com. Kicks-wise… nothing changes… we’re still going to get Black, White and Red Nike LeBron sneakers. This time with no excuse for the Red not being Wine.
