Nike honors these stars and their super powered status by championing Kevin Durant’s lightning speed, Kobe Bryant’s unparalleled snake-like vision and awareness, and LeBron James’ diamond-hard toughness. Two celebrated sneakers are aligned with each player… The Nike Air Hyperflight and the Nike Lunar Force 1. Both were founded on the principles of making footwear as light as possible. The “Superhuman” collection will be available on March 29th at select Nike Sportswear retailers. Are you looking to expand your Nike LeBron collection with the new Hyperflights?Read the rest of this entry »
The 2011 Nike Sportswear X LeBron James Collection is starting to pop up in stores. We already previewed some catalog images, but it’s time for actual photos. It’s good timing for Nike Sportswear to put together a lifestyle collection for King James during the NBA lockout. The collection features an Air Force 1 Low, a Nike ACG Air Max Conquer, and couple Destroyer jackets. Be on the lookout, because it already dropped at Nike Harajuku in Japan. Some of the stuff is also available at nikestore.com, but that’s mainly tees and polos.Read the rest of this entry »
For Holiday 2011, Nike Sportswear is releasing a special LeBron James collection that includes the Air Force 1 Premium Low QS and the Air Max Conquer QS. Both are crafted with premium black leather, with the Air Force 1 equipped with a high-traction outsole reminiscent of a duck boot. The Air Max Conquer is winterized as well, a high-cut ACG boot that features waterproof overlays, rugged outsole and a 180 Nike Air unit at the heel. A special King James logo at the tongue and insole complete the look. Both styles are slated to release in November at 21 Mercer and select Nike Sportswear global retailers.Read the rest of this entry »
If you recall the last LeBron Air Force 1 we featured on the site, it was a Cleveland inspired Cream colored Nike AF1. Then, just like that, it’s turned out the released version is a little different. Actually, the shoes are almost the same, but loosing the LeBron logos on the back and on the insole is crucial for us – LBJ fans. So basically a LeBron AF1 became just another colorway of this legendary shoe. Today, we’ve discovered yet another LeBron Air Force One sneaker, personalized for Ohio State University. The shoe features OSU’s team colors – Black, Red and White – with L23 logo on the tongue and “O” on the back. Again, the actual production model comes without the LeBron logos (see pics below). We don’t know what’s the reason for such a “downgrade,” but it would be nice to get a new LBJ AF1 with logos and everything. Well, I guess we should focus on the Zoom LeBron 6 Low, which seems to be a worthy substitute.Read the rest of this entry »
Yesterday we profiled the Nike Zoom LeBron VI MVP Edition – Nike’s tribute to their marquee star and also this year’s NBA Most Valuable Player. LBJ wore the exclusive MVP’s last night – according to our sources the only time he would do that. However, during the press conference held at the St. Vincent – St. Mary High School two days ago, Tyler Way presented him custom Nike Air Force 1 “MVP” sneakers. According to their creator it took over 40 hours of hard work painting these very special shoes. The MVP AF1 contains a predominately blue leather upper with multiple crimson red and gold accents throughout the base. However, one of the more interesting feature is the white MVP inspired scripts located on the heel panel similar to last year’s “Mr. Basketball” shoes. To finish this shoe off, it is complimented with a regular white sole.Read the rest of this entry »
Last November, we mentioned about the new Nike AF1 personalized for LeBron James. It’s been a while since an LBJ-inspired AF1 hit the stores. The last one to drop was the Black and Gold Supreme edition, released during Nike’s 25th anniversary of the Air Force 1. For several months there was no information about a possible release of the new style. Nike is about to drop another Air Force One sneaker dedicated to their marquee NBA star. This Cavaliers inspired colorway features a visible air bubble and a perforated diamond pattern on a White leather upper. Finished by Wine-colored tongue, laces, interior and Gold outsole the shoe sports a luxurious look, which is comparable to King James’ style. It’s available now at ltd for a little over $200. Notice there is no L23 logo on the back, which was present in the previous version.

New York may be getting the hottest Nike Zoom LeBron colorways, but Cleveland isn’t be completely forgotten. We haven’t seen any new LBJ Nike Air Force 1’s in a while now, but seems like there is a pair scheduled to be released in the upcoming months. The last Nike LeBron AF1 sneaker to hit the streets was the Black/Gold Supreme edition, which was released in celebration of Nike’s 25th Anniversary of the Air Force Ones. Nike did a really good job with this one. The newest Nike LeBron AF1 features a suede/perforated leather upper in Cream colors sitting on a Gold midsole highlighted with Crimson laces and the tongue. Of course it wouldn’t be a LeBron Exclusive without the L23 logo, which is sewn on the heel. Photos via lobster*n*shrimp.
