LeBron & Wade Shine as Miami Heat Take Control of the Series »

The Miami Heat defeated the Indiana Pacers 115-83 Tuesday in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals at American Airlines Arena. After a monstrous Game 4, LeBron James put on an encore performance in a crucial home victory with 30 points (12-for-19), 10 rebounds and eight assists. If you’re Indiana, you just have to shake your head when LeBron and Dwyane Wade get into that kind of telekinetic rhythm. The halftime buzzer-beater feed from Wade? The falling-out-of-bounds, one-handed rope to Wade? The football pass to LeBron on the fly? Just unfair. Maybe it wasn’t 40-18-9, but LeBron reminded us that no one consistently puts on a better show than him. Following the debut of Black and Gold LeBron 9′s in Game 4, James introduced the Home colorway – White and Gold – last night.

James & Wade Carry Heat to Tie the Series. LeBron With Away 9′s. »

Unstoppable. That’s the only word to describe LeBron in this game. Down 2-1 in the series, LeBron put his team on his back and tried to win the game by himself through halftime, then Dwyane Wade joined the effort thereafter. LeBron scored or assisted on every one of the Heat’s points in the first quarter and he never let up on the gas after that. He put up video game numbers with 40 points, 18 rebounds and 9 assists, two blocks, and two steals. The game really didn’t start their way, though. LeBron wore the Black and Gold version of the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite, which was not a good sign. Initially, it was said that the regular Aways with Gold in it could only be worn in the NBA Finals.

Pacers Handle Miami Heat First Home Loss in 2012 NBA Playoffs »

The Indiana Pacers defeated the Miami Heat 78-75 in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, tying the series at 1. The Pacers had four players score in double-figures, led by forward David West’s 16 points and 10 rebounds. Guard George Hill added 15 points while Danny Granger contributed 10 and Paul George 10. Heat forward LeBron James led all scorers with 28 points and Dwyane Wade finished with 24, but it wasn’t enough. Miami was playing without forward Chris Bosh (stomach), and received little help from the supporting cast. LeBron was running on fumes by the end and missed two key free throws that could have changed the course of the game. “The game is not lost or won with two free throws. But I definitely want to come through for my teammates. So I’ll get an opportunity again. I know I’ll be at the line again in that situation. Just go up and make ‘em.”

Miami Heat Close out New York Knicks in 5 Games »

LeBron James had 29 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists – all team highs – in the Miami Heat’s series-clinching win over the New York Knicks on Wednesday night. It was the 20th time in his pro career that James led his team outright in points, rebounds and assists in a playoff game. That’s by far the highest such total for any player in NBA history. In fact, the only other players who did that in at least 10 games are Larry Bird (13) and Tim Duncan (11). The end result succinctly summed up the difference between LeBron and Carmelo Anthony. While James was busy facilitating for teammates, Anthony put on the blinders and kept hunting for his own shot. They both put up big scoring numbers, but LeBron made sure he got his teammates involved in the process while eating up only 15 field goal attempts. King James was “forced” to wear his Miami Heat Home Player Exclusive shoes from Game Two.

Heat Fail to Complete the Sweep. LeBron with 4 Shoes in 4 Games. »

Carmelo Anthony scored 41 points, Stoudemire had 20 points and 10 rebounds in his return from a cut hand, and the Knicks snapped an NBA-record, 13-game postseason losing streak by beating the Miami Heat 89-87 Sunday in Game 4 of their first-round series. With the Knicks’ season on life support, LeBron James didn’t exactly show a killer instinct until the final two minutes. He was fairly aggressive, but he didn’t exhibit his usual high basketball IQ on the floor. He stepped out of bounds unprovoked, trolled for foul calls and forced tough shots. Incredible and-1 at the end there, though. James playing in his 4th game of the post season sported a new colorway of the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite. His new Miami Heat Away PE features a Black upper with red laces, red swoosh and signature logos.

Miami Wins Game 3 at MSG. LeBron With New Elite 9′s – Away PE. »

With Broadway just around the corner, LeBron James delivered his best Jekyll and Hyde act. For three quarters, it looked like he was overwhelmed by Madison Square Garden. With four fouls and seven turnovers early in the third quarter, LeBron was benched until a brilliant fourth quarter that saw him score 17 points to put the game away. Brilliant closing job. After debuting two Home Player Exclusives in Miami, James broke out his new Nike LeBron 9 PS Elite Away PE for the first game in New York. The color blocking is similar to the Nike LeBron 8 first GR. More detailed pics coming soon.
