Yesterday, Nike introduced the first in a series of limited-edition styles of the new Nike Air Max LeBron VII. Nike and basketball superstar LeBron James kicked off the More Than A Game world tour in partnership with Lionsgate in Chicago. In each of the ten cities the tour will visit, Nike will make 123 pairs of the Air Max LeBron VII available at retail. The limited-edition shoe aesthetic is white with green trim, inspired by the school colors of Saint Vincent-Saint Mary High School (SVSM) in Akron, Ohio, where James played basketball. The Chicago City Pack edition is available at the Chicago House of Hoops and the Chicago Niketown while supplies last with a suggested retail price of $200 USD. Each limited-edition style includes an image from the Lionsgate film, More Than A Game, which traces James’ journey through adolescence both on and off the court with his teammates from SVSM. These images are inspired by one of James’ six pillars or personal credos – Passion, Fearless, Tradition, Community, Family and Loyalty. The Chicago style represents “Loyalty” and has an image of James with his arms around two teammates from SVSM.

We get tons of emails with questions about the release of the Nike Zoom LeBron VI MVP Edition. Unfortunately, other than what’s been already posted there is no new information available at this point. The MVP Six dropped on 5/5 at NDC and sold out within couple hours. Afterwards, several fans received a “unfortunately not all of your item(s) were available” message from the store, which was a bummer. Good thing it’s not the end of it. More pairs of this special ZLVI colorway will drop on 5/30 at nikestore.com, House of Hoops stores, and possibly selected NikeTowns. Also, fans in Asia will get their batch of MVP’s. Since we have almost 3 weeks of waiting left, we’d like to share some new photos with our readers. There are couple of nice angles presenting more details of the graphic applications (f.e. 08-09 on the back collar). Shout out to SneakerVault and oneonenine for help with pics. Yesterday was a very busy day for all LeBron fans. Throughout the day we kept adding new locations selling the Dunkman Soldier ZS3s. Although we were made to believe it’s a HOH/Asia exclusive they ended up dropping at Cavs Team Shop, NikeStore.com and several NikeTown stores. Today we give you a preview of yet another colorway – Camo Nike Zoom Soldier III. Looks like it will be released in the upcoming months, however, the distribution method remains unknown. Learnt by yesterday’s example we should stay on our toes. Previous Camo Soldiers were rather limited. The first edition dropped at Sole-bar’s opening (about 100 pairs). The ZS2 dropped in two Camo styles – with and without camo inprint. The first one was the prize in Nike’s Olympic contest, but it was also released on NDC later that year. The other camouflage ZS2 was a regular HOH/Asia exclusive. Couple new pics of the new version after the jump. Happy Easter to all LeBron James fans!

We start the new day with new batch of pics. Yesterday we profiled the Dunkman ZSIII and today we continue our coverage with some fresh flicks presenting one of its main features… the 3M reflective material used on the upper! Also, there’s a special Dunkman Witness Tee that will be available for purchase along with the shoes. There’s a photo after the break. We are glad Nike seems to listen thier fans. First we rooted for a Dunkman GR, but we got a Light Grey version without the logo (ZS1, Low ST, ZLV). Then, last year, the Dunkman ZS2 and ZL5 Low sported the new Dunkman logo, but the Light Grey was still not right. Now we can honestly say there’s a deserving Mean Green Nike Zoom LeBron sneaker just asking to be copped! Keep your eyes pealed as HOHs might not be the only place to scoop those. We are hearing rumors about several NikeTowns (f.e. NTSF)… of course very limited numbers. Big props to MJ23KB24LB23 for the update. UPDATE: THEY’RE OUT at cavaliersteamshop.com UPDATE #2: NDC has them too!

I’m sure you’ve seen a fair share of photos featuring the upcoming LeBron James sneaker – Nike Zoom Soldier III. Now it’s time to get into the specifics. As you may know the ZS3 has popped up here and there (for example Asia, and several spots in Europe), but the U.S. market is still awaiting the premiere. Well, the newest version of the Soldier is scheduled to be released on April 17th, 2009 just in time for the NBA Playoffs. Expect to see The King rocking these shoes once the Cleveland Cavaliers begin their post-season campaign. Don’t miss the chance to own these unique kicks. Nikestore.com will receive them, along with NIKETOWN stores, Urban Accounts and other authorized Nike accounts. For more pics please see our previous posts here and here (actual GR).

Lately, it’s been all about the City Pack VIs, the Chalk edition, and some of the upcoming models (including two GRs and several exclusives, f.e. HWCs). But, let’s take a look back at the shoe that started the whole Six fever. After all the United We Rise Zoom LeBron VI, was the first to debut on the Hardwood, the Internet, and in stores too. Although, it was not easy to get a pair they have become very popular… probably because it’s the closest we have to the actual Olympic Gold Medal sneaker. They were released as a limited GR in Asia, and a Quickstrike in the U.S (NDC, NikeTown, House of Hoops). LeBron James tried to bring them back by wearing the Witness Gold edition on his birthday. If you’re still looking for a pair your best chance is ebay. See the USAB UWR ZL6 gallery after the jump.

The third and final sneaker of the “Tale of Three Cities” pack will end with the Zoom LeBron VI Los Angeles edition. The first was the Big Apple Zoom LeBron VI and the second was the Miami Zoom LeBron VI both of which have already released exclusively in their respective cities. The Los Angeles edition comes in a mixture of greys along with crimson accents and a graffiti pattern on the midsole. The upper is a grey nubuck with textured leather in the toe area and the swoosh. This final Zoom LeBron VI LA will release exclusively in Los Angeles on January 19th, 2009. See some of the release locations below:
- Niketown LA
- House of Hoops – Beverly Center
- Footlocker – Cerritos, Glendale, Lakewood & Fox Hills
- Champs – Montabelo, Northridge & Downy
- Millinium – Slausons & Inglewood
- Undefeated – Leabea & Santa Monica
- Proper – Long Beach
- Sheikh – Fox Hill Mall
The “Tale of Three Cities” started back in November when the Big Apple Nike Zoom LeBron VI was scattered around the New York City. Last month, on LeBron’s birthday, the LeBron tour stopped in Miami for the release of the second shoe from the City Series. Next Monday, on January 19th, when King James is going to take on Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers, Nike will release the limited ZL6 L.A. Edition in the heart of California. Similar to Miami and New York VI’s, the Los Angeles edition will be released at 23 different locations throughout the city. Previously, we profiled two versions of the LA’s – with and without the “Rainbow Dunkman” logo. Although it seems like the logo version will be the one to release, keep your fingers crossed, hopefully someone might still change it on time. The locations include the following FootLockers including the House of Hoops LA, but remember many others stores will get them as well (NikeTown seems to be a sure thing).
- House of Hoops, Los Angeles (Beverly Center)
- LAKEWOOD CENTER: LAKEWOOD, CA
- LOS CERRITOS CENTER: CERRITOS, CA
- GLENDALE GALLERIA: GLENDALE, CA
- FOX HILLS MALL: CULVER CITY, CA
