Upcoming White-Navy-Silver-Red ZSII USA Inspired

Despite the Zoom Soldier II USA PEs look as good at they do, it’s still uncertain if fans will be able to enjoy any of these. Of course there might be a super limited HoH/Asia release, but that just won’t get the job done, at least not for most people. One of King James’ Olympic Player Exclusives - the first one - is a simple White/Navy/Silver/Red colorway with the “United We Rise” logo and his jersey number #6. That version features Akron street map across the body just like the 318694-141 sample did.
However, there is another version scheduled to be released in August. It’s the same colorway, but the design is different. It’s a 325267-141 White/Dark Obsidian-Metallic Silver-Team Red with the usual ZSII perforations instead of the map and without LBJ’s USA emblems. It’s a little confusing cause it seems like there are two different versions of the same colorway, but it’s possible that one of them is slated for Asia and the other one for US. It has happened in the past. Last year there were two versions of the Black and Gold Zoom Soldier I. We will follow up this matter, as well as possible Olympic PEs release, so check back to NLB for an update.

Another Look at the “Remix” Nike Zoom LeBron V Low

Check out some new Nike Zoom LeBron V Low Remix photos. The shoe is available at Finishline just like the other recently released Remix Zoom Soldier II. Yesterday they popped out at their online store as well - click here. The Remix ZLV Low features a very appealing White/Black/Gold/Red color combo. While the Remix shoes are a Finishline exclusive in the US, looks like guys in China also got some pairs, but only ZLV Low at the moment. Finishline Exclusive Remix Nike Soldier II New Pics

After showing you some blurry pics a couple days ago we have something a little better today. Everybody will be happy to learn that the Remix Zoom Soldier II, which is a Finishline exclusive, hit their online store yesterday, after being available in local stores for over a week. Here’s the link. It doesn’t happen very often for a shoe worn by LeBron James in the Playoffs, which seemed to be a PE at first, to release later in a regular store. Also, seems like all the new ZSII colorways - Remix and USA Editions - have that additional eyelet. I’m glad they added that cause I was about to drill a hole in my shoes just to see how it feels. LeBron James and USA Basketball Take Over New York City

The USA Basketball Team was in New York City on Monday on a media tour promoting the upcoming 2008 Olympic Games. The NBA superstars that will represent the U.S.A this summer in Beijing for the 2008 Summer Olympics assembled in NYC for a day-long Nike-sponsored event that included a boat ride around the East River and their first introduction to the public at Rockefeller Center.
Joined by the league’s M.V.P Kobe Bryant, basketball’s best players like Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwayne Wade cracked jokes in between serious Q&As, where they stressed that they’re focused solely on bringing home Olympic gold to the United States - something that hasn’t been done since 2000. Third Olympic Zoom Soldier II PE with Chinese Characters

News pics keep on popping out like crazy. In the past two days two Zoom Soldier II USA PEs were introduced to the world, but that’s not over yet. We’ve seen LeBron’s plain and simple “United We Rise” PE from the Training Camp followed by the “United We Rise” Tribal PE spotted at NYC and now we get to see the third version. This one is inspired by Chinese culture with #6 (LBJ’s jersey number) written in Chinese. It could pass as an Away Colorway with the Tribal PE being Home. Photo thanks to wei233147 via kenlu.net.

Remix Edition of the Zoom LeBron V Low from Finishline

Seems like the Remix Zoom Soldier II popping out at selected Finishline stores is not the only surprise from Nike. A Low-top version of the Zoom LeBron V has been spotted at the stores as well. According to one of our readers, who after reading yesterday’s post, went to the store to get the Remix ZSII, the Zoom LeBron V Low Remix - 318696-171 White/Metallic Gold-Black-Varsity Red is also available at Finishline in limited quantities. We get a lof of questions about the numbers of those releases, and sadly we don’t have any precise data, but they are indeed limited, cause after yesterday several stores run out of pairs. Second USA Zoom Soldier II “United We Rise” Tribal PE

Yesterday when we posted the First Nike Zoom Soldier II USA Special Make Up we mentioned there are more Nike LeBron shoes personalized for the Beijing Olympics. Today thanks to KATC and kenlu.net we get a closer look at the next one, but that’s not over as there are still more. Today’s version features the same “United We Rise” logo on the tongue and a reflective laser tribal pattern inspired by the personalities of each player on the team. The UWR ZSII is not the only shoe featuring the concept.
Nike, Jordan Brand, and Converse are coming together to create the “United We Rise” series of PE Olympic Footwear. Nike Soldier II and Nike Hyperdunk are the first among the new USA customized basketball shoes. Casual versions - AF1 and AF25 - are coming to stores in August. The “United We Rise” Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier II is said to be released in very limited quantities at the House of Hoops by FootLocker in late July.

Close-up of LeBron James’ First Zoom Soldier II USA Edition

As the 2008 Olympic Games are getting closer expect to see some new LeBron Special Make Ups for the USA Basketball Team. King James started things off by wearing personalized edition of the White/Navy colorway at the Training Camp in Las Vegas last Saturday. The details were very difficult to spot on the pics from the practice, but we’ve managed to find you a better angle. It’s the first out of many USA PEs to come. This one features new USA logo on the tongue plus #6 (LBJ’s USA jersey number) on the inner side. There are also at least two more versions - USA Home PE with Tribal pattern just like the new USA jerseys, and the Away PE featuring Chinese characters inspired by Beijing Olympic Games.

Quickstrike Release of the Remix Nike Zoom Soldier II

Nike is keeping us on our toes. We’ve kept following Nike’s General Releases plus all the House of Hoops and Asia exclusives, but they used a back door entrance and released another Zoom Soldier II colorway without anybody noticing. According to our sources a new ZSII version - 318694-113 White/White-Black-Varsity Crimson - is available in selected stores across the US. So far only Finishline has been confirmed as the store that carries the shoes so it’s possible it’s an exclusive.
This version looks similar to the Zoom LeBron III Black Remix PE as it’s also a White/Black/Red/Gold combo. The Remix ZSII features Black Patent Leather all over the shoes with Red details and Gold outline. Also, they have an additional lace hole just like all of LeBron’s PEs and after you look closely you will see that it’s the version worn by LeBron James during Game Six against the Boston Celtics. USA Basketball Team is Preparing for the Beijing 2008 Olympics

On Saturday LeBron James and the Beijing-bound U.S. Team practiced for the first time in Las Vegas since the squad was announced earlier this month. Everybody knows that Kobe Bryant and LeBron James are on the U.S. Men’s Senior National Team about to compete in the Beijing Olympics for the highest prize, no excuses this time. Four players who previously participated with the current iteration of U.S.A. Basketball, but missed last summer’s FIBA Americas Tournament, are back in action. Dwyane Wade (shoulder), Chris Paul (ankle), Chris Bosh (foot) and Carlos Boozer (wife’s pregnancy) had differing reasons why they were unable to participate last summer, but shared the same sentiment of appreciation to be involved in Beijing.
The USA Basketball Men’s Senior National Team will be profiled in a five-part documentary series, “Road To Redemption presented by NIKE”. The series, produced by NBA Entertainment, will debut with a special one-hour episode that will air Wednesday, July 2 at 7:00 PM ET on ESPN2. The other episodes will be aired on 7/21 (#2), 7/31 (#3), 8/5 (#4, #5).
