Sneak Peek: Nike LeBron 9 Lows “Cyber” and “Entourage”

There are about 10 different colorways of the Nike LeBron 9 Low scheduled to drop in the upcoming months. So far we’ve seen only two of them – Easter and White/Black – in real photos. Fortunately we are closer to the release and some new photos have surfaced the blogosphere… or in this case twitter to be exact. The new photos feature the Obsidian/Cyber-White-Blue Grey and the “Entourage” look-a-like (which simply means Royal Blue/Yellow) styles. Photos via @jose_STFU.

Nike Introduces 2012 “Black History Month” Collection

In celebration of the 36th anniversary of Black History Month, Nike is introducing a new, limited-edition 2012 Black History Month Collection featuring premium footwear from Nike Basketball and Nike Sportswear, along with select apparel. NIKE designers developed a signature graphic print and distinct colors that are featured on the shoes. This motif is inspired by the vibrant colors of International African culture, drawing visual cues from Kenyan beads, to the Brazilian Carnivale, to African-American quilt making which originated in the southern United States. Select basketball shoes in the 2012 Black History Month collection includes the Nike Zoom KD IV, Nike Kobe VII System Supreme and LEBRON 9 – all feature the pattern with dark grey as the base color of each shoe. The Nike Black History Month Collection will be available at select retailers this month and at NikeStore.com beginning February 11th.

For the third time, Nike will release the “Cool Grey” model for LeBron’s signature shoe – blending different shades of grey with the familiar white sole and swoosh. Among the unique colorways that Nike has released the Lebron 9 in so far, the Cool Grey is one of the more anticipated ones. The LeBron 9 Cool Grey is available starting today at nikestore.com, eastbay.com, footlocker.com and in local stores. It retails for $170. The Showcase: Nike LeBron 9 “Miami Nights” (Tons of Pics)

The Miami Nights edition of the Nike LeBron 9 was definitely a nice surprise. Initially, I didn’t think it would be that good, but after seeing them in person, and wearing them on court a lot, I’ve quickly changed my mind. The design is subtle, but still eye-catching at the same time. Inspired by the bright lights of Miami, this LeBron 9 colorway is dressed in a simple but also vibrant color scheme. Here’s the very first clear look at the upcoming Nike LeBron 9, which is a part of the Black History Month. The LeBron 9 “BHM” features a grey-based upper with an unique pattern on the inside and the sole too. The Black History Month logo sits on the top of the tongue. Wearing Brons: Al Harrington Rocks His Own Nike LeBron 9 iD

Usually, most of Nike LeBron sightings on NBA courts involve LeBron James’ current teammates. Same thing happened during his Cleveland Cavaliers days as well as nowadays with the Miami Heat. Mario Chalmers has worn the Nike LeBron 9 several times… including the Freegums colorways. This season, apart from retail styles, the players have the possibility to customize a pair thanks to the Nike iD option available for the LeBron 9. Al Harrington of the Denver Nuggets has created his own colorway matching his team colors and wore them last night.

Nike Air Max LeBron 8 V/2 “Miami Heat” Player Exclusive

January was slow kicks-wise so it was a good time for LeBron James to break out some new LEBRON 9 Player Exclusives, which he did. Among the newly introduced PEs were Aways, Homes plus an additional Black & White version. Basically, the same groups of PEs as the last season’s LEBRON 8 V2′s. Among several Player Exclusive styles, which have surfaced afterwards is this new Miami Heat inspired colorway. King James didn’t get a chance to wear these in an actual NBA game, but it would be a nice match with Heat uniforms. Shout out to @artaphax for sharing.

Nike LeBron 9 “Swingman” Avialable Early at Nikestore Europe

We’re getting near the release of the Cool Grey colorway of the Nike LeBron 9, which is slated to drop in the U.S. next week. However, seems like fans in Europe and Asia will get a chance to cop a different pair sooner than that. Officially slated for March is the Ken Griffey Jr. version of the nine, which has been spotted at all Nikestore Europe stores. Yesterday they were out of stock, but you can place your orders starting today. The “Swingman” features a Navy-ish and White upper with Red highlights and the Dunkman X Swingman logo on the back. Also, they come with two sets of laces… black and red.

King James Debuts New Nike LeBron 9 “Miami Heat” Home PE

It was an easy win for the Miami Heat, who welcomed back Dwyane Wade in yesterday’s win over the New York Knicks. Wade and James went on a highlight display in the first quarter, setting each other up for dunks in the opening minutes and combining for five slams in Miami’s first seven field goals. Is ws the perfect stage to unveil his second Player Exclusive colorway of the season. LeBron sported his Home PE, which for my taste was reminiscent of the Air Zoom Generation “First Game”. The Real Dunkman Version of the Nike Zoom LeBron IV

If you’re familiar with the Dunkman collection you’re already an expert. However, there’s always something new to learn. In this case… a new Dunkman LeBron shoe has been recently unveiled and no it’s not the upcoming LeBron 9 as you’d normally expect. We take you way back to the Nike Zoom LeBron IV… the foamposite shoe. There was a Dunkman IV colorway, which was a big hit at the time, but it has never actually lived up to the level of LeBron II and III’s. The new version is much closer to the initial theme switching the white midsole in favor of dark grey reminiscent of that legendary Gun Metal Grey. Also, the sole is different as it comes without the translucent Dunkman logo concept on the bottom, which suggests it’s an early sample. That plus the fact it has WITNESS on the back instead of BELIEVE. Big thanks to Visrael for sharing, who probably owns the only pair that has seen the light of the day.
