Wearing Brons: Diana Taurasi in LeBron 9 “Phoenix Mercury” PE »

After debuting the USA colorway of the Nike LeBron 9 earlier this month, Diana Taurasi sports a new version personalized for the Phoenix Mercury basketball team. Once again, it’s a very nice and clean looking shoe, but this time in White, Purple and Orange. She will be wearing them during the 2012 WNBA Season. Diana has managed to put together quite a collection of LeBron James’ PEs over the years. Still, her Soldier III Mercury and USAB PEs are one of my favorites. What do you think about her Player Exclusive colorways?

Additional Look at Nike LeBron 9 Low “Floridians” Exclusive »

The Miami Heat have worn the throwback Floridian jersey on multiple occasions this season in which LeBron has worn an exclusive Player Edition shoe. The Nike LeBron 9 Low, however, was the first time the Floridian colors were released on a LeBron signature pair of kicks. The Floridian Lows feature an entirely vivid orange upper with cherry accents on the white Nike swoosh, inner lining, heel “LJ” logo, and on the lace collar. The pair comes with the choice of orange or cherry laces both of which have multi colored lace caps. A white midsole leads into a half cherry and half orange Air Max bubble. The outsole is clear and the bottom of the Air Max cushion has an emblem of a cherry and orange accented Lion. Click here for a special wallpaper and continue reading for more photos.

Nike LeBron 9 Low “Bringing Sand to the Beach” Custom by Mache »

Mache Custom Kicks brings the popular style from last season – Flamingo aka Miami Nights – to the low-top version of the Nike LeBron 9. Originally, it was first seen on the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low, but Mache has already applied the theme to the Mid version of the Nine a couple of weeks ago. The base shoe for the custom paint job appears to be the recently released Nike LeBron 9 Low “Floridians“. The shoes feature a palette of colors inspired by Miami nightlife including pink, blue and black.

The Showcase: Nike LeBron 9 “Black History Month” »

Many slept on the Black History Month collection mainly because there was so much heat dropping around that time. Not to mention that the All-Star Galaxy theme was just around the corner. The Nike LeBron 9 BHM is inspired by the vibrant colors of International African culture, drawing visual cues from Kenyan beads, to the Brazilian Carnivale, to African-American quilt making which originated in the southern United States. It’s a very unique style. Also, it’s the first time Nike included a LeBron shoe as a part of the Black History Month collection. Continue reading for a detailed gallery.

Nike LeBron 9 Elite “Miami Vice” Ultimate Gallery by Sneakerbox »

Here’s another look at the upcoming Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite “Miami Vice”. It’s about the tenth zillion time that we profile this South Beach themed shoe, but the new photos will definitely make you awe. Even if you’re not a fan of these shoes. The level of detail is amazing. There are so many pics that I had to split the post into two pages so be sure to check them out both. If you need a reminder, which is doubtful, the Wolf Grey/Mint Candy-New Green-Pink Flash colorway of the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite will be release on June 2nd, 2012. Unlike the Taxi colorway, they will be available at Nike’s online store – nikestore.com and other major retailers. This is a limited release so don’t hesitate once you see that add to cart button.

The Showcase: LeBron “South Beach” Family (Shoes, Slides, Socks) »

One of the great things about LeBron James playing in Miami is… the South Beach theme. It’s one of the most popular, most wanted, and unfortunately most expensive sneaker themes on the market these days. Introduced in 2010, Nike released their first South Beach shoe to launch the Nike LeBron 8. Along with the shoes came a limited “It’s Good to be The King” t-shirt (shout out to osneaker.com!). This season, they released the LeBron Air Slide and LeBron 9 P.S. Elite, both using the eye-catching Green, Black and Pink color scheme. Finding any of these at retail is considered a miracle. Similar to other limited 9′s, the South Beach aka Miami Vice style got some matching socks from Nike Basketball. Like most or their LeBron socks – Galaxys, Freegums, Chinas, Hornets, Taxi, Floridians – the “Ocean Drive” style is limited so you won’t find them at regular stores. Nike Basketball Matching Tee and Socks for Nike LeBron 9 “Taxi” »

This season Nike Basketball has started matching their special edition shoes with just as special Nike Elite basketball socks and t-shirts. And by special I mean limited so they’re pretty hard to find. Here’s a Limited Edition Nike LeBron 9 “Taxi” Elite Shirt & Socks combo. These items were sold at American Airlines Arena for Game One of the Heat vs Pacers series. The theme of the shirt and Nike dri-fit socks is for the LeBron 9 Elite Maize shoe, which is also knows as “Taxi”. The shirt and socks feature a checkered top with yellow center section with palm trees tying theme back to Miami. Additionally, a headband featuring the new LeBron logo with the words MVP on one side and the Miami Heat logo on the other completes the set. Search for “lebron taxi socks” on eBay if you’d like to get a pair.
