We’re only two days away from one of the most exiting Nike LeBron releases in this iteration or perhaps in the whole Jason Petrie era. Nowadays, LeBron James can boast over 10 All-Star appearances, multiple MVP awards and the game’s most precious accomplishment. Before it all, he took part in one of the most highly anticipated Rookie challenges ever, racking up 33 points for the now legendary 2003-2004 rookie class. The special moment called for special footwear, with LeBron wearing his debut Air Zoom Generation in the now highly coveted “Wheat” make-up. Eleven years later, the silhouette that started it all inspires a limited edition take on the upcoming LeBron XII EXT. Geared for off-court use, the LeBron XII EXT features a wheat nubuck upper with metallic gold accents. As a nod to LeBron’s memorable rookie challenge performance, the heel pull-tab displays the date 2.13.04. Classic LeBron branding on the tongue tab and sockliner tie back to the legendary Air Zoom Generation. The official released is slated for April 4th with a heavier than usual $250 price tag.

I have the chance to get it since a month (thanks to a shop that released ’em according to the original calendar before postponement), and that’s a must have. Expensive but top quality.
I’m waiting for a retro of the AZG “wheat” now…
