The release of the Nike LeBron X “Setting” was, for me, one of the biggest surprises for the whole LeBron 10 series. I mean, you could predict other staple colorways being nice, but this was a very fresh design and it was fairly easy to get. A combination we don’t get to see very often these days. This special make up reminds us more of Miami’s football team more than anything else, but its real inspiration is drawn from the backdrop of a sunset on South Beach with its mix of oranges and teal colors. The whole story is reflected on the diamond on the inside heel. The upper construction is mostly atomic teal with bright orange taking care of the lacing system, inside flywire technology and outlining the Swoosh design. LeBron James wore nearly 30 different LeBron X styles last season, but sadly this was not one of them. Too bad because the Setting LeBron X reflects on his new hometown city with dignity without digging into the standard South Beach theme.
